Go to the library and take out the Atkins diet book which emphasizes minimum carbohydrate foods. I lost 65 pounds using this diet and you don't go hungry either. Good luck!

Do be careful because fruits and vegetables are carbohydrates that include alot of the essential nutrients and vitamins that we need.

But so do starchy carbohydrates - ie. rice, potatoes, bread

When making your choices make sure your including more of the good ones and less of the bad ones.

Atkins has a list of low-carb foods and has thier carb content listed for a number of foods. hope this helps!
