My husband won't eat them because he swears he got really bad gas from a banana years ago. I've never heard this before... any truth to it? For some reason it really bugs me, I'm always trying to talk him into at least trying one to see what happens.

I'm a big fan of Keith Floyd - he always seems to be having so much fun, Nigella Lawson - a very sexy lady, a positive role model and a good laugh to boot, Gordon Ramsay - a sexy, forthright kind of chap, and Hugh Fearnley - Whittingstall - an inspiration in organic cookery and a true British eccentric!

I'm not such a big fan of Jamie Oliver, although I do acknowledge that he's done some good work for schools.

I absolutely LOATHE Ainsley Harriett.

What do you think?

I like cereal for breakfast, but must admit after a soccer game or a late night I love a nice cold bowl of cereal. It tastes better 'after' breakfast.

I love tamales and I am on the search for the best ones in different cities. I am visiting Santa Fe and it is a tamale fest over here! Here's your chance to weigh in with your favorites.
If possible, please list
1. The kind of tamale (green chili chicken),
2. The name of the restaurant (Tesuque Village Market),
3. The city (Santa Fe),
4. And the price per tamale/plate ($4.99 per tamale...ouch!).

If you have other comments about quality, variety, atmosphere, etc. feel free to mention them!

(The masa was very moist and the filling a little hot. They come unwrapped--which was a little disappointing because half the fun of tamales is unwrapping the husk yourself. They are usually pretty busy at Tesuque, serving tourists, the Santa Fe Opera crowd, and their local reservation. They also have a bakery and small food store.)
