80% of the time. The rest I realize they're there after they've been in the fridge too long.

I ussually do. I like leftover. They are better the second time around. The flavors get a chance to absorb and they taste better the next day or so. I never keep anything more than three days though for safty reasons. Waste not want not. You know the old saying. There are a lot of starving people out there, and we should be very thankful for what we have. God Bless

We don't waste food. Everything in here has to be eaten.
If not then it becomes dog food. Ha ha
Or you can feed some left overs to chickens they eat about anything. Rabbits and goats and cows like special stuff.
Like left over lettuce or carrots.

no, but I have good intentions when I put them in the fridge! I even plan what I'm gonna do with them the next day, but I forget they are there most days! The dog really likes me cleaning out the fridge by the way.

Had to answer. Hi CaffeineAddict! I can relate to the name.

No. Usually I forget, or maybe I'm in denial that they are there. Leftovers usually end up going to the dog.

_____
We have lots of kids, so we rarely have leftovers. Usually the reason they are there is because no one wanted them in the first place.

Not usually. I'm very forgetful anyway so I'm not even sure why I save leftover food. Usually I remember them when they start to form their own food group.

No and consequently I have what's politely referred to as a necropolis for food in my kitchen.
Have you ever seen tofu gone really bad? I hope not.
