this prcosses actually takes alot longer than you think. first they send bessy the cow to the slaughter house where they use a bolt gun to put a hole in her head killing bessy instantly. then, they they hang her upside, after making certain cuts they shock her stimulating the dead heart and forces the remaining blood out of her. now this shocking method also makes bessy get all tense and no one likes a tough cow so they put her in a meatlocker like the one rocky balboa practiced in before fighting apollo creed. there, bessy "hangs out for no more than 35 days. then comes along our friends from the usda. they make sure the meat is good for human consumption and stamp bessy with a rolling stamp. this ensures edibility. not your grades like prime, choice, select etc. at this point bessy and most of her friends will be cut into primal cuts. chuck, rib, loin (sirloin & shortloin) round, foreshank, brisket, short plate and the flank. some of these parts are cut to into smaller steaks and cuts. and depending on the fast foods specifications meats from different parts are ground up and pressed into patties, flash frozen and shipped off to where ever bessy is eventually cooked up, and made into a bigmac

When they are big enough, they are shipped to a "slaughter house" where they are butchered. Then they are hung in a cold room for about 3 weeks to cure.
From there they are cut up into different kinds of meats such as steaks etc. ro ground up into hamburger meat.

At the butcher house there is always a USDA inspector there to test the meat is safe to eat.

ok couple of suggestions...
www.beefitswhatsfordinner.com

also try www.foodnetwork.com
they have a search engine on there and you can find all kinds of recipes for more than just beef hundreds of different stuff...

now i do have a recipe that my mom and i used to do

You will need a muffin pan
a roll of basic biscuits (the cheap like 3 or 4 for a dollar ones, nothing expensive or fancy)
taco seasoning
garlic powder or salt
salsa
cheddar cheese (or anything that goes well with taco flavor)
and of course hamburger meat lol

...brown your hamburger..amount depends on how many your feeding ofcourse...but put in some taco seasoning and garlic powder or salt to taste...
now spray your muffin pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking...
take the biscuits and individually gently stretch them out a little and place them in individual muffin holes...making like a pocket...spoon a small amount of taco meat dont put too much or it will bake over lol
top with cheese and bake like 10 minuts if not a little less basically till the biscuits brown and the cheese melts and serve with the salsa...getting the biscuits right without ripping them can take a little practice

but i made these once for a bunch of friends and they loved

you can alter it some for different tastes..like add green chilis or you dont have to use taco if you want you could do like italian and a little spaghetti sauce and make them italian...

hope that helps
ENJOY
