I know that pop uses corn syrup instead of actual sugar. But if the corn syrup requires sugar, how much sugar is in a 20 oz bottle of Pepsi, Coke, or Dr. Pepper?

My cappuccino mix contains sugar (fills the top of the food pyramid), partially hydrogenated vegetable oil (vegetable group), coffee beans (fruit group), and dry milk (dairy) among other things. It fills most of the various food groups; so, surely it's okay to live off of cappucino (and the occasional Jell-O snack pack fresh out of the microwave), right?

There are several factors that dictate my preference: perked coffee is stronger, and its flavor is fuller than drip coffee. Also, if you have the right kind of coffee perker, you can watch the infusion happening right before your eyes, a aesthetic sensibility but nonetheless one of the joys of perking coffee. I'm just wondering what reasons you might have for preferring one method of preparation to another. (If you like it from a coffee press or by a method I don't know, feel free to speak up and tell me why you like it!)

MORE ON THIS NEW CALCIUM BOTTLED WATER: This is NOT a sparkling water. It is regular water. A 1/2 liter (approx. 16 oz.) contains approximately 10% of your daily Calcium needs -- all of which is 100% absorbable into your system (unlike the pills you may take). Plus it contains an appropriate amount of Dr. and World Health Organization recommended Magnesium. This water tastes, looks and smells the same as the other bottled water you are already purchasing. BOTTLED WATER FOR HEALTHIER BODIES: More than just strong bones and teeth, the need for CA and MG is very complex. An adequate intake of daily dietary CA is required to control the heart rate, blood clotting, muscle contraction, and much more. MG also is an important co-factor in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the human body, incl. cardiovascular functions, the synthesis of energy, absorption of CA, contraction of muscles (incl. the heart) blood clotting and nerve messaging. Americans do not receive enough Mag. & Cal. THANK YOU!
