By soft drinks i presume you are refairing to coke, lemonade etc? If so..OF COURSE they're bad for you, they're full of sugar. Sugar is makes you have false energy for short periods which then drop rapidly making you feel tired and hungry. Plus sugar rots your teeth.

Very much true, it contains a high level of sugar that can damage our teeth but however if you're planning to stay awake the whole night, it will be the great choice beside coffee due to its caffeine content.

There is lots of sugar in the sodas and caffeine... I've never tried it but there is the science experiment where you drop a nail into a bottle of coke of Pepsi and leave it over night and the next morning its gone...
