Does anyone remember saving the metal milk bottle tops for the 'guide dogs for the blind' charity?
Do they still do it?
I've got loads.
I love milk.

Foil Milk Bottle Tops

I've got loads of old ring pulls from beer & coke cans. The Kidney Association used to take those, but don't any more, so I doubt the Guide Dogs take milk tops. Most charities rattle tins on the street corners these days.

I don't like coke or beer by the way.

The tops are aluminium so can be recycled. I suspect that with so many schemes around it isn't worth anyone trying to collect for charity now.

Why not save the tops and use them as ornaments? I love shiny!!!

A number of charities still collect silver paper. If you have a ring round your local charities (I think yellow pages have some numbers) and ask I am sure you will find somebody who wants them

I remember doing it. But these days I buy milk from the supermarket with plastic lids, and it was always really my mum doing it rather than me anyway.

I dont think they take silver bottle tops any more, the council take them in most areas, or they can go in the can bank.
