Whenever I go out to a sushi bar I always see at least one or two people eat only the toppings like salmon, crab salad, etc...and they just leave the sushi rice on the plate. Why? I think they should just ask the wait staff if they can specially make them dishes without the rice instead of wasting food. Don't you think so? I'm sure the sushi chefs won't mind cause most of the time they aren't that busy when the whole sushi boat is full.

Of course I love my mother's kimchi. But I'm talking about what type do you like the most. Mine are the ones made of cabbage and radishes. I also like the cucumber kimchi.

I'm going to be making a Korean dinner for about 50 people. Bulgogi, Jahb-Chae, & wings. I've made this meal for my family at Christmas, and for small dinner parties before, but never for as large a group as this. I'm a little concerned that it may not turn out (especially the Bulgogi) due to the weird thing that happens when you quadruple a recipe. Any suggestions or recipes for groups of 50??? I'll be doing this within a week! Thanks for any suggestions!

Know any good substitutions for Sazon in Puerto Rican cooking? It adds alot of taste but has way too much MSG and I don't like giving it to my kids. We are a white family but eat alot of ethnic foods - especially Spanish and Asian.

ok i know everyone's heard this one about certain asians eating dogs and rats, since then everytime i eat chinese food i check my meat to see if it looks like any other type of meat, sometimes i get disgusted of thinking about that, that i just stop eating it. Am i the only one? and could this be possible in this dirty world?
