Im Mexican and Taco Bell is not real Authentic Mexican Food its made by White Crackers.

Ugghhhh! No!!
We live in a border city that has a Taco Bell, and are just AMAZED at the amount of people that eat there. There are authentic Mexican restaurants on every corner that are cheap, and people STILL go to Taco Bell!!

It is so far from being Mexican they would all run back to Mexico if they were forced to eat it, the original founder, a man named Robert Bell in the 60's thought that the American market was lacking in true Mexican food and adapted the dishes he like from his trips to Mexico, to the American palate, and it has been steadily going further away over the years, if you ever get the opportunity to eat in a tradtional Mexican Cantina with true regional dishes, Taco Bell will become a for thought after that.
Good Luck and happy eating, your first respondant is truely misguided if they feel that way, must be the toxic food for TB they have eaten all these years.

not at all.
we don't have chili-like the mix you buy,or that particular flavor taco bell and other companies,restaurants call chili.we do use CHILE which is hot.,but it is a vegetable not a spice really...
no one has heard -in mexico-of a hard taco shell wrapped on a soft taco shell.it would be as if you eat a hot dog -with it's bun-and put it on 2 slices of sandwich bread!
it is a different flavor from authentic mexican food and i as mexican do like taco bell!

I have never been in an authentic mexican home that uses processed meat and canned beans and bagged rice for their meals.
This is almost like asking if McDonalds is authentic American food. lmfao
