Don't forget they will shrink a bit when you cook them.
So I would treat it like scampi and go with 7-8 per portion!

seriously ur going to cook gold fishes?! thought tose were pets.
try something else like peperroni or something more flavourful.
create a new dish and leave the poor gold fishes alone
