Within the first few minutes you arrive, whether you have little expereince or tons of experience, what should you do, I'm guessing you would want to start cutting up your garnishes, and check to see if the bar is stocked, is that sort of how the first few minutes of the first shift should go ? And from there ?

One glass of Cabernet gives me a nice mellow buzz ... but I can drink 4- 5 mixed drinks (like rum and coke or vodka tonic) and not really feel a buzz at all. Before you preach ... I do not drink wine or liquor in order to get buzzed, but this odd effect is something that I recently noticed. Just wondered why!

im going out this friday night and i want to drink enough to make me tipsy NOT DRUNK! last time i went out i got totally smashed!! but then again i did have like 3 or 4 shots of sambuca,double vodka and lemonade and then two bottle of smirnoff ice. and then another double vodka with lemonade. i drank all this in a space of 2 hours. but this friday i just want to remember my night. what shall i drink??? oh yeah i dont like beers- bleuuugh!

If someone goes out drinking, or has been drinking liquor, why do they smell like liquor? It's not like they are bathing in it or pouring it all over themselves. They are drinking it. When I drink Coke, I don't smell like Coke. What is the secret?
