I've tried burboun and loved it, but i haven't really tried much else. I don't plan on becoming an alcoholic or anything, but i want to know which types of alcohol to go after first.

hypnotic,
strawberrie daqurie,
purple hooters are good very mellow kinda like kool aid
black and blue, again like kool aid
smirnof vodka is good with a chaser or even in orange juice in this case a screwdriver,
mudslides ok
smirnof ice very tastly kinda like lemon aid can hardly taste the alcohol
jim beam down home punch, also water melon
mikes hard lemon aid and cranberrie
bad ones are pretty good
also rum is pretty good not too harsh depending on what you get
hotdamns are good (cinnimon flavor)
long island iced teas

if your planning on doing shots heres some good stuff all these are a little harsh though but the more shots the easier it goes down plus having a chaser nearby is good

tequila cuervo (my personal fave) good chaser for this is pepsi
jim beam
tequila quervo black (good in coke or in shots)
jack daniels

and thats all i an think of off the top of my head. heres a neat trick for the harsher alchohols.....breath out completely hold your nose (dont breath in yet) take your shot take a quick drink of pop and you wont taste it as bad....just something i picked up =)

happy 21st B-DAY

Bourbon? Bourbon is fairly sweet, so I bet you would like dark rums. Try Captain Morgan or Sailor Jerry, and you probably can't go wrong ordering a Mojito or Cuba Libre.

Also try Southern Comfort.

Also, everyone needs to get drunk off of tequila or mezcal at least once in their life.

I'm not a big beer drinker, but I don't pass up Guiness, and if you get a Black and Tan make sure it is Guiness and Bass. For the most part, I don't like domestic (American) beer, with Boulevard Pale Ale being the exception.

And, I kinda hate to admit it, but here is my Drink of Shame: Hypnotiq. The stuff is easy and good, but it's about as fufu as this German-Irish girl will get.

Experiment! Get some small mini-bar style bottles and try stuff, or sit at a bar that isn't busy and make friends with the bartender. You'll find what you like soon enough.

Why at sixteen are you unexpectedly deemed a in charge motive force? Why at 18 are you unexpectedly mature adequate to smoke, connect the militia, and be totally emancipated out of your mom and dad? Why at 35 are you able to be president yet no longer 34 and 11 months? Does that month truly make a distinction? No, it would not. they're standards put in place for a prevalent rule assuming that at age you're in charge adequate to handle repercussions. sure, some people at 15 can take care of alcohol responsibly, and likely, some people at 40 two won't have the capacity to handle alcohol responsibly. There are 14 year olds who could be greater desirable drivers than some 19 year olds. except you like a licensing technique in place for each little thing that age brings then provide up complaining. we ought to consistently take a drivers license attempt, yet ought to you think of having to bypass an examination for eating, smoking, shifting out of your mom and dad homestead, getting married, having intercourse, and so on? If all those have been in place possibly they could do away with age regulations.

The best alcohol is no alcohol. I'm 54 and an alcoholic. I know you said that you don't plan on being an alcoholic, but that is something that happens without you even knowing it. You may wake up one day and find that you've done something in the throes of being drunk that you will regret for the rest of your life..

After initial beer & wine.

Most new drinkers start on tequila or vodka

Then they graduate to gin, rum, southern comfort or scotch

And they end up on burbon or whiskey

If you don't want the hangover use water as your mixer for whiskey or bourbon. Sweet mixers like orange, cranberry, or lime juice is what gives hangovers if you don't re-hydrate.

Here is the list from a Bostonian:
1)Tequlia
2) Voda
3) Rum
4) Gin
If you are thinking of beer Sam Adams.
If you are thinking wine, follow the list above, you will quickly forget your need for wine.

Start off with low-alcohol beverages, like beer and wine coolers, then work up to higher-alcoholic drinks, like Jack Daniel's, gin, and scotch!
