Lying
cheating
Stealing

And how old are you? Interesting. Not a good sign of who you are.

You obviously already know it's an issue. So to reach out to "people" you don't know to find a way to "get away" with it tells me much about your character.

Don't take the bottle, pour the liquor into another container, and refill the liquor bottle with water or something else suitable to match the contents you take. If he asks you about the missing liquor, just say you don't know anything about it. He's a drunk, he probably don't remember what happened to it anyway, so you're safe. Just deny!! DENY DENY DENY. Plausible Deniability!!

You don't. Stealing is wrong. Lying about it just makes it a whole lot worse. Unless a black hole develops in your friend's house, who else would have taken it? It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure it out. Your friend will get is trouble, and there's a good chance you will too if his Dad calls your parents.

I'd say go buy some, but you're obviously not old enough to.

Here is a really good excuse.. of course he won't believe it any more than the other ones you dream up.. but it might make him a little easier to get along with.. tell him that you had a sore throat and heard from someone that if you gargled with it it would help you get better.. tell him you did not intend to drink it but while you were gargleing.. it slipped.... if he asks you if it helped your sore throat.. tell him no.. but after gargling a few times you didn't give a damm.

When I tell you that there is NO good excuse that you will be able to give him, you must believe me.

There is no, I repeat, NO good excuse that you will be able to give him. He will know that you stole the liquor.

What happened to the good ol' days when kids would just pay bums money to go buy them liquor?

Just deny EVERYTHING!! Deny, deny, deny. If he asks you where it is, say, "I don't know, what are you talking about." It's the only way because if you come up with some lame excuse like, "I was trying to clean something, and thought that alcohol would get it out," He'll know you were lying. If you deny everything, he may just believe you.

...first you have an intervention with the old man complaining whilst also showing fake concern about his alcoholism...tell him how he passed out the other night and beat you with a liqour bottle ( the one " missing " )...he will cry and you will get smashed with your pal...

Depending on what liquor it is, just replace it with water. Or just say that someone must have broken into the house
