I was told Highlife is the cheaper of the two by someone but I can't verify that. What is the difference in taste, etc?

Miller Lite was originaly the the Light version of High Life (the "champagne of beers" LOL)
With the introduction, years ago, of Genuine Draft the High Life was relegated to a bargain beer.
Miller Lite really hit it's stride with celebrity sports spokespersons and ads. Then in the low carb craze it got even more popular with its 3.2 grams of carb.
Taste? Well the slogan has it half right: "tastes great....less filling."

Between the two? High Life. Hands down. High Life is not a light beer, That's why they have High Life Lite. Miller is better than anything Anheuser-Busch has ever made, but none of it comes close to Killian's Red
