My father in law cooked it for me (I had never tried it before) and I loved it. I need to find out how to cook it because I now love it. Thanks.

Haha for those of you who are over 21, you might be laughing. Or maybe you felt my pain at one point or another. But I know that I like wine and I know that I like my rum and coke and my margaritas...but how do I branch out and order new drinks? How do I know that to order?I don't even know the difference between red wine, white wine and all the various other types..like chardonay or anything! Same goes with alcohol...whiskey, rum, etc. How do you figure this out??

My 21st bday is in 2 weeks!

Is it wine?

And if it isn't what number in the list would wine place, e.g. 2nd, 3rd etc.

My grandma used to ship us these candies Tourini, Toroni. something like that. They are white candies that come in a blue box. They are a nougat with nuts with a thin wafer on them; they come in (flavors, not colors) orange, lemon, and vanilla.

If you know what I'm talking about and/or a site I could order them from. please let me know. And no, I can't ask her. She died in 1985.

Do you love strawberry, raspberry, ginger, blackcurrant, cherry, apricot, peach, pineapple, quince, "pearl", or "toe"?

Do you prefer it with seeds, lumps, bits of fruit, or would you rather have smooth "jelly" types?

My favourite is strawberry jam with lumps of fruit, but my wife prefers smooth raspberry jelly without any pips!

What's yours?

Hey i started to make a chicken curry last night, in a slow cooker, and switched it on low with the intention of eating it 10 hours later, it has now been 14-15 hours (i overslept) and from what i know about bacteria the chicken has been sat for a very long time at an optimum temperature for bacteria to grow.

In short, can i still eat this chicken curry or will i run the risk of food poisoning?

also does it make a difference that i dumped everything in the cooker while it was still frozen?

thanks in advance
Dave

Why isn't a delicious plate of roasted vegetables with a roasted brick of tofu its own reward?
"It simply strikes me as a bit hypocritical to both condemn the meat industry (and I acknowledge there are great many reasons to do so -- no question) and eschew eating our animal friends, but then seek out "Tofurkey" (if it isn't meant to mimic roasted fowl, it would be called Roast Tofu, but marketing has obviously proven the buyers DO want something which resembles roasted bird meat), or fakey hot dogs, or fake "chikken" and the like?"

This question was asked on the following website:

It's been asked before but IMO never quite as succinctly.

Sure you can voice your opinion about meat eaters but when you start telling people there cold-blooded murderers for it then thats when its a bit OTT.

What do you all think?

FYI, I'm not trying to insult anyone I'm just asking a question that needs to be answered =]
