Some people mix their stuffing and immediatley stuff bird or put in casserole dish and bake= dry or too wet stuffing...

Mix your stuffing and let set 10 to 15 minutes, give it time to absorb liquids then you can see if it will be too dry or wet and adjust accordingly, then stuff bird or put in casserole dish and bake.

Mine was a little too moist this year. That's my fault for not drying the bread cubes out as much as I should have. Plus I was trying to do my recipe from memory. It tasted good, but had an odd consistency.

Mine was perfect. I go by the texture before I cook it in the oven, soft moist texture. Also if you add celery and onion do not over cook them when adding to the stuffing, if your stuffing turns out dry add some broth to it.

Uggh! I hate it when that happens. Since I had a special turkey yesterday, I heard if you put some lemon juice on your stuffing, it should help. I tried because it supposedly 'brings out the flavor'. Yeah, no difference.

I actually don't make the turkey dinners but the one I had was not dry.
Why don't you just make the stuffing and don't stuff the bird. just bake it on the side, keep it warm because when you make the stuffing before you stuff the bird it basically is already cooked so just keep it outta the bird

I usually put in two raw eggs to hold it together before I bake it, this way it's not too moist or too dry.

apples add moisture to the stuffing, also, if stuffing is dry, pour a bit of hot apple cider or hot chicken broth on it.
