I am trying to find some really good recipes to cook for my fiancee. She is trying to lose weight but only seems to like the fatty foods. She is a picky eater and doesn't like lots of veggies or fish.

In the 1st & 2 nd world war soldiers were issued with curry powder as a survival kit to eat the odd rat or cook their boots. I,m not asking for advice on how to cook your Timberlands or Doc. Martens, but toothpaste could be used as a substitute for mint in boiled potatoes. So how about battery acid as an alternative to lemon juice? Or can you pickle those onions in sulphuric acid? Saltpeter is a main ingrediant in gunpowder, it is also a preservative, so will bullet cartridges have a place in the survival cuisine? And that engine oil would it have tobe a veg based one like Castrol R, it certainly smells delicious or would a mineral based oil be ok? What are your recommendations? So I can try them on my guests

I am thinking of baking a ham to take to my aunt's for Thanksgiving, but I have only cooked a ham one time and it didn't seem that spectacular. Do you have any good ham recipes? I don't like cherries, pineapples or cloves on my ham so please, no recipes that involve those ingredients.

Thanks!

And no cravings! I accidently ate one half of a flake on Sunday coz it came with my coffee so it wasn't really my fault, it's just habit when you get free chocolate to eat it before someone else comes along...

Would you be able to go more than a week without chocolate??

I have left over white zin from my wedding and was wondering if anyone knows of any drinks that I can make from it.
I am not a big drinker and need to take the edge off the taste.

I am thinking about going to bartending school, I am married and have a 11 year old son. My husband does not think it is a good idea to go to bartending school, He thinks it is a waste of money and basically probably a scam. He does not like the idea of the hours of working in a bar, and the fact that I may be hit on, just a lot of factors including the time. Ect.
