Are there any foods that you initially thought you would not like, but after trying them found that they were good?

And on the other hand, are there any foods that you thought would be really good, but upon trying them decided you didn't like them?

For me, I thought I would love eggplant, but I really don't care for it. I also thought I would hate artichokes but I think they're delicious! :-)

Thanks for your responses!

A friend of mine is opening a Bar in White Plains, NY.
Every other bar there is an Irish Pub... they all have names like Black Bear, O'Donnelly's and so on.
His place is going to be more modern, based on the four elements and with a high-end menu of organic foods, good wines etc.
He's stuck on the name "Elements", but there's gotta be something better.
Let's hear your ideas!

For some reason if I drink enough to get tipsy [[or in a couple of cases in the past where I've been completely out of it]], I am drowsy/ only half there for days, and sometimes weeks afterwards, obviously depending on how drunk I've been. Why is this?

I barely drink much, I don't get 'drunk' very often. For example, the other night I was slightly drunk, but I remembered everything, and the last time I've been drunk since then was on New Years. I drink casually, so I'm kind of wondering if this has anything to do with the lack of alcohol I drink? Does it affect my body in the sense that my body is not that experienced or something? When I explain how I feel to others, they have no idea what I'm talking about..

Basically I feel kind of sleepy, almost like I can't think straight. However, when I'm like this I've found that I notice things more, and I'm not afraid to speak my mind, which is very worrying!!

Please help! Could it be dehydration or something?
