I really like hot sauce, and it's usually used for dipping meat, but what vegetarian foods can I dip in hot sauce?

I'm not lactose intolerant. Is there any reason for me to drink Lactaid over regular milk? Do you get the same nutritional benefits from Lactaid as you do from regular milk? Does it taste good with cereal?

Okay, so me and my man went to a club the other night and we were having a good time, while we were chatting, a woman kinda comments on the topic we were talking about (it wasn't a rude break in, actually timed pretty well) and we just all got to chatting. Her husband returns from the washroom and sits with us (it's a very couchy (lots of sofas) type of club) and we all chat, clicking quite well. One of her friends comes by and joins the laughter. As us gals go out to the dance floor to shake it, the men chat and laugh, generally getting on well.

So here's the question. Does this happen often in clubs? We usually hit a pub for a night out for dinner and billiards, and it is rare to hit a nightclub for us. Is it normal to make connections this easily with other people in a club? Pubs are not like this.

I was eating at an Arab friend's today and she was boiling a few things she picked up from the local ethnic-food shop.. she didn't know what it was but was advised to boil it. So I picked it up and peeled it to unvail a veg that looked and tasted like a potato. Can anyone tell me what it was or send a link or two on what you might think it is. The exterior is very earthy but inside is quite soft like a potato when boiled.

Do you know a way to make popcorn at home that tastes like movie theatre popcorn?

I have a stovetop popcorn popper. How can I best approximate the taste of movie theatre popcorn? I tried varying levels of salt and Orville Redenbacher's popcorn topping, but nothing I do can match real movie theatre taste.

Thanks in advance!

If I were to be served toatsed goats cheese with a fricasee of liver and kidneys, I would believe it had been cooked by the devil himself, I would have to decline in favour of sticking pins in my eyes instead.
How about you??

I purchased a cake mix that does not include instructions for making cupcakes. Is it safe to assume that I can use the same amounts of ingrediants and just alter the cooking time for cupcakes?
