In TRUE food hell, my mother-in-law does all the cooking.
See, she's french, which you'd think would be a good sign, but the thing about some (NOT ALL) french people is that they seem to believe that knowledge and talent can be acquired by knowing someone who knows....
Therefore, if you have a friend who's a doctor, you're qualified to dispense medical advice, and if your niece is a musician, then you might as well be teaching university level courses in the history of music....
If you haven't guessed yet, her son's a chef, which makes her a world class gourmet cook - in her opinion!
God help us all....but I'll have some of that goat's cheese if you're not gonna eat it!....

Actually, a good cook could make a fine meal of liver, kidneys, and goat cheese. "Food hell" would be an English cook trying to do that. I grew up an English cook, but I have since been educated (and beaten) into reality!

FOOD HELL is trying to feed a 10 year old boy any meal when he is allergic to eggs,milk,soy, peanuts,tree nuts,all shellfish,some sea fish such as cod, onions, garlic, tomatoes, basil,oregano. Try finding oils that don't contain soy or nut derivatives. Desserts w/o nuts or nut oil , or soy by products, or products that are tainted due to the machinery use to process the products.
Food Hell is when a little boy cries because he can't eat pizza due to the wheat and thing and various other ingredients like the milk in the cheese, the garlic and tomato in the sauce etc...
Food Hell is hoping that when he goes to school at the lunch room he doesn't forget what he is allergic to and accepts a sweetie from a friend that could kill him. That is food Hell.

In my experience, I really have to agree with Mark Twain... 'Ol Mr. Twain said, "There is nothing more beautiful than watching a southerner making a big pan of cornbread. While there is nothing more disgusting, than watching a Yankee trying to do the same thing"...
Other than that; As much as I love all kinds of food. I would have to balk at SPAM AND LARD CASSEROLE...
Household pets, different breeds of vermin, anything crawling on land without legs and skunk...
When it comes to heart, liver, kidneys, gizzards and things inside of animals and birds. I recall what my grandfather once told me when I was a kid; "Son, we might be poor people, but we ain't so poor we gotta eat the guts"... So I don't...

I have a rule that needs to be followed. Whenver eating, things must not touch each other. Some things are ok, like mashed potatoes and corn. But under no circumstances can sweet sugary thing come in contact with salty things. Like syrup and bacon!!!!I must have another clean plate to eat dessert from. Not the same one that had the main meal on it. If I were in food hell, they would force me to eat things that were all mixed up. NO WAY THAT IS HAPPENING!!!
That would be a lliving hell for me.

I'm with you on the liver and kidneys part. . .I'm pretty sure that's the nightly menu in Hades, too. Canned spinach is on the buffet, too, along with canned asparagus and brussel sprouts.

i cannot eat squid just the thought of it in my mouth makes me want to gag. also okra, just cant seem to keep it in. there is no way in this world that you can make me eat that stuff. even pork no not hotdog or ham i mean like PORK where the fat is still on it and its white, soooooo nasty! i just lost my appetite. I hope i get a best answer for this one
