Singles & Dating - 5 September 2007

I am in m 20's. Never had a boyfriend before. My first current boyfriend saw me at a wedding, and wanted to organise to meet me. Don't know what took him so long, it had been 6 months later when they organised us to meet at someone else's house. So he asked someone for my phone number, they got my permission first. I was like ah i have nothing to lose.

So i went out with him. Been seeing him for a month and a bit.
At first i was scared, freaking out about a few things, like:

* why doesn't he look like this guy (only ever felt attracted to guys for their looks - now with my current bf looks don't matter anymore) the strange thing was that i started checking out other men.

* What if he isn't it - can i find anyone better than him. (even though he is a real gentleman - he respects me, says he loves me and doesn't only want me for the reason to get into my pants - most guys would stare and treat me like a piece of meat). I was also like, why did this guy want to meet me and date me?

This girl i have a crush on has been acting strange around me lately. She rarely ever talks to me(This summer she talked to me all the time), but she will talk to all of my friends. In class when she sits by me she is always either playing with her pen or fixing her shirt or something of that sort. We were leaving school the other day and she and her friend both rushed to go with me in my truck instead of the other kids. Her friend has started talking to me more lately. Someone asked me what i did this weekend and she replied quickly he partied all weekend and kinda noted how i was probably drunk. Then later on that day, she made the remark how someone over the weekend called her drunk at a party and was talking about how beautiful she was. The funny thing is though is she knows i dont really go to parties and i dont drink.Why is she acting this way, and was she sort of wishing i was the one that called her?

Just say you find a woman and you connect with her and you really are attracted to her, but she travels by bus because she doesn't drive and the trip for you is 40 min on the freeway, how would you pursue that interest? or would you.......

I like a guy , not sure if he's interested, I have rare opportunities to see him, but have had some positive vibes of possible attraction on his part.. I don't know if the distance thing will kill any chances of at least getting to know him more...any advice would be really appreciated.

I know when to be serious and when to cut loose. I laugh a good bit actually. I just dont want to give guys the wrong impression that I actually "like" them just because I laugh at some of the stuff they say. Do you know what I mean? Even after they broke up they had feelings for each other for a long time. But now they dont at all. She is about to be engaged and him and I have a great connection. My mom is hating this though and tells me its wrong that we would even think about dating. This has become a big problem because I dont want to let him go, but my mom is going to make my life extremely hard if I dont. Do you guys think its wrong?

Okay, so a new school has startet and with it a lot of people have changed or had a lot of stuff happen over the summer. And today, I heard something truly bizzare. I was at lunch and I was talking to a few friends and they brought of the topic or a gay friend of mine, let us call him, Mike.

So this guy named Mike is nice and everything but a statement was said that he is in a relationship with a 32 year old guy, like more than just friends, or friends with benefits relationship. I really don't know what to believe, because it may be true, it may not be, but it just struck me as a bit strange.

Should I be concerned about this? It bothers me a person a little younger than me is in a relationship with a grown man.

My boyfriend was @ my house last night, parents were gone, and we were laying in bed...making out etc...and he started to go farther and farther south. We've made out, touched, whatever but not farther than that. And when I started to act nervous he said, "you have to trust me." I've told him I'm not having sex til I'm married and he said he respects that...but he went all the way down on me...I just felt, violated afterwards...I dont know if guys just can't stop once they've started? We love each other and i do trust him...and i did last night...but now i get shivers whenever i think about it. I do see myself marrying him in the future but just bc i see that doesn't mean i shouldn't keep my values that i started with,

I guess...what i'm asking is, does he now expect me to do the same to him? BC i can't, not yet. And how do I bring this up? what should I Say?

So I was talking to one of my good friends about my ex the other day. My ex and I have been broken up for about 2 months. The friend I was talking to is really experienced with relationships. Anyway, My ex and I were dating for 6 months and everything was fine then I started to become an ***. And since we've been broken up I've worked out my problems and everything is better now. I told my friend about this and he said it seemed like she could be playing some kind of head game. Because she wont talk to me and she keeps ignoring me. Like she makes it perfectly clear shes ignoring me. Like when I walk by she just turns her head or looks up. Like she wants me to notice her ignoring me. At least thats why he thinks she could be playing head games. I really don't get it, But could he be right? Could she be playing some kind of game? I mean I still love her and wish we could get back together some day.

I don't understand why girl tend to show more interest in guy that already have girlfriends. To me, she waisting her time and his because the gut isn't going to give her the time of day. When i had a girlfriend at age 19, most girls were giving me a lot of attention eventhough they knew i was seeing someone. How are single guy any different than guy that aren't available
