i really like this guy in my class but i could never date him because my religion says that boyfriends/girlfriends are forbidden. my mom is also trying to pressure me with guilt not to date him. what should i do?

If your mom say no dating. No dating.
As long as you live under her roof and are depending on her for your support, you need to obey your parents.
When you are over 18 and are supporting yourself. Living on your own ( without parental help or their financial help ) You are old enough to make your own decisions.
Until then, no mater what religion your parents believe in.
You must obey your parents. That is true of all religions. The only exception would be if your parents were forcing you to do something which is illegal or sinful.
How would you feel if you were caring for someone and lovng them and supporting them and driving them everywhere and they say "I don't have to Listen to you!"
You have to listen to your parents. You can state you case and try to sway their decision.

You have a double edged sword working against you. Your religion and your mom. I'd say listen to your mom and wait until you're older. It's something we all had to do. Sorry.

Don't let your mom brain wash you! however if you are 12 or 13 listen to your mom but as you get older you can choose who you want to date. Your mom chose someone as she had you good luck

God wants you to be happy and i dont think you are worry about your religion i think you are scared to date him because of your mom and you are afraid what she might do to you if she fids out you are dating

and you mother shouldn't force you, or she can get in alot of trouble! if you choose to love and not be with that religion, or go with it and never love
