Okay, so a new school has startet and with it a lot of people have changed or had a lot of stuff happen over the summer. And today, I heard something truly bizzare. I was at lunch and I was talking to a few friends and they brought of the topic or a gay friend of mine, let us call him, Mike.
So this guy named Mike is nice and everything but a statement was said that he is in a relationship with a 32 year old guy, like more than just friends, or friends with benefits relationship. I really don't know what to believe, because it may be true, it may not be, but it just struck me as a bit strange.
Should I be concerned about this? It bothers me a person a little younger than me is in a relationship with a grown man.

These two people, the teenager and the grown man are friends on a networking website. Seems kind of weird they are such great friends, I care because I'm a friend, and I'm afraid that the older person may have some potentially harmful stuff that can happen.

It is concerning that someone so young is with someone much older than them, but the first thing we need to establish is whether or not he really is with a 32 year old man. Why not just ask him and see what he says first before jumping to conclusions. If it is true, then you need to talk to him about the situation and let him know that as his friend you are concerned for him. No one that old should be with anyone that young and if you feel seriously about it, then let his family know, it may hurt him at the time, but his safety comes first.

Am I to assume you are in high school? If so, then yes, I would be bothered. A 32-year-old, whether gay or straight, has no business in a relationship with a minor. He could wind up in jail.
If your friend "Mike" is of age, then there is really nothing you or anyone else can say or do about his personal relationships. They are his business.

don't jump the gun mate ..they could be friends thats all so before you go and do anything ask your friend ...take him a side and tell him what you heard and see what he say's ..because the others could be yanking your chain , your friend might be gay but that does not mean the older bloke is ...could be your gay friend is just after a little information from someone who is older because he can't(for what ever reason) ask anyone else and you DON'T know if he is in a relationship or not ...do you ? so do the right thing and ask him before you start adding anymore rumours
