Singles & Dating - 26 May 2007

Me and my boyfriend have now been dating 5 and 1/2 weeks. All in most, I think It's a great relationship. What bothers me is he always wants to go to karoake. It's of coarse late every night, and some times the other singers are pretty bad. I'll admit he has an awesome voice. If I go with him when we get back it is so late and I'm tired, so that throws that night's sex life outta the picture. Besides, from my health I can't stay up late much anyway. I feel like we had an awesome day, but that night he wants to end with him singing at a bar. He doesn't drink, but what about me? Can't it just be me and my man at home spending some time instead of hearing blazing music, seeing people get drunk, and getting tired?

I'm 18 and I'm a virgin. And I dont have a problem with that, on the contrary, I am very proud of that, but my question or my concern is that, usually people my age has already had sex, so now that I'm ready to have sex I'm afraid that I dont have any experience and my partner has and i dont want to disappoint him, but like I dont know what to do. I really want to be with him, but I wanna do it "right"... We are just starting our relationshp, we've had a couple of dates, and I'm not saying that I would do it right away with him, but I want to be prepare for when the moment is right... Also, and this is embarassing... I haven't kiss anyone, not with tongue. When most of my friends were dating I was taking care of my family, and my studies and other stuff, so I never really was "on" that... The thing I most hate is that I'm very hot, (and I'm not bragging, so dont take me wrong) so everybody thinks I've already done that, so it make it even worse... So any help would be appreciate it. =)

I really think I've lost it. I recently bumped into someone that I have been crazy in love with for years. I hadn't seen him for 2 years. Yesterday I saw him again and gave him my phone number and ever since I have just been a mess. I'm nervous, my stomach is all f*cked up, every once in awhile my pulse starts racing. I feel like I'm losing it. I want him to call me so so bad. I knew he wasn't going to call me last night, he told me he couldn't and it's only 9 in the morning here so of course he's not going to call this early but I'm freaked out that he's not going to call me at all. I'm sure this seems ridiculous, I am a grown woman. Is this comparably normal? Is there anyway to rid myself of this?

I am going to be in High School next year. A few days ago this boy who will be an eight grader told me he liked me......(i like him too) just one MAJOR problem.....his girlfriend is one of my best friends & really i mean really likes him. So a few days ago he broke up with her 2 go out with me. Shes all now depressed and everything and i feel like its all my fault. Him and I will b apart from each other all summer except 4 like 2-3 weeks. I really like him a lot, but i just told him i wanted to be "friends" should i take that step & become his "girlfriend" or should i just wait until hes in high school??

well i really like this guy and i dont know if he likes me too but we flirt so much on the phone. today iam goin to watch a movie with him at his apartment. he is really nice and i dont want to do the wrong things like kiss him all of a sudden then maybe he will say he cant cause we are friends. what shoud i do when i get there ? should i just watch the movie and leave afterwards, i dont want him to think iam too forward but at the same time i want him so bad . help me do the correct thing. what do you guys want ?

I want to thank all for the advice in my last question, now here is another. My son's mother and I have nearly been together for almost 10 years, marriage was an issue at one time, but it was a little more one sided meaning that I would be the one that will mention it and she would accept what things, but she has no other input on when, where or anything else. We have done things to each other that resulted in feelings being hurt, but we forgave but have not forgotten. At some point we have done alot of breaking up and getting back together. Just last year we broke up over another guy which was my friend from high school which it took some doing to tell me that was who she was seeing and she felt that she wanted to give him a chance. I don't know if she gave me another chance due to how bad I was going through the break up but she did and finally told me who it was at that time. Now she has left again and about the same time this year as last year. Her reason are different this time.

I asked one of my friend's sister (who i was close with) if I could borrow her brother's shirt and so I did for a day and then I felt guilty so I gave it back to her the very next day. But then he found out and he's not talking to me but we weren't really talking to each other in the first place we'd talk once in a while(it's complicated he has a girlfriend) and I'm just afraid he won't talk to me again.

So what I'm asking is would you be freaked out if a girl you knew borrowed your shirt from your sister?

How bout if you liked her would you still be freaked out?

Would you still talk to her and how would you feel?

I regret and feel embrassed about this...

A friend of mine asked me for a piece of advice and I'd like to inquire your opinions / experience.

He has been in a great relationship with a girl for the past 4 years. They have lived together for the last year and they have a very good relationship in all aspects. He is 25 and she is 22.

However, it is his FIRST AND ONLY relationship in his entire life and he obviously is having a hard time evaluating it as he has nothing to compare it to.

The fact is that he is doing a relocation next year and he must decide now whether his girlfriend would join him (she want to). Her joining him, obviously, means that they will MARRY. And so the question comes down to should he marry her?

Any advice / insights you can share with me and the rest of the world for the benefit of those who find gold on their first strike would be highly appreciated.

My girlfriend finished we 4 weeks ago (after a 12 months) claiming that 'she changed as a person'.

We had everything going for us but she was insecure and liked a lot of attention (self admittedly). Despite my best efforts she was always seeking reassurance on whether I missed her if she went out for few hours, if I still loved her, concerned that she loved me more than I loved her and that I might rather be with someone else. She didn't believe in the 'honeymoon' period either.

She quits her job 8 weeks ago to do course so that she have a new career. She meets another guy and starts to have feelings for him. 3 weeks in to the course she confesses that she doesn't know what she wants anymore. Just 5 days after that I'm out of her life and a few days after that she started dating this other guy!

Before she started her course 'she loved me more than i would ever know', after she finished it she 'had feelings for me but coudn't love me like I wanted her to'.

Is this a bit messed up?

Me and my ex were happy and had a healthy relationship.BUT A week ago she stayed at her ex's coz she had to, which she's done b4 coz they were gud m8s, and slept with him.He made the first move, he was sober and she was drunk, it was a quick shag to break us up,she says it meant nothing.He did it coz he wants her back but most of all he is munipulative, in their relationship she'd gone back to him over 10 times coz he could talk her over, he treated her like ****.She told me about it the day after face to face, because she cares about me and wanted to show how much she respected our relationship. I promise u she regrets it completely. She's having nothing more to do with her ex whatsoever thinking it'l prove to me she wants to be with me. But stil does she like me? Wil she do it agen? we're m8s at the moment but we really miss what we had. Is it alot easier to cheat with an ex you once loved? 2nd chance?
