Singles & Dating - 26 March 2007

Okay, I absolutely like this girl, who i am really good friends with. We have so much in common, and we just connect. But here is the bad part, one of her friends asked if i thought she was cute, which i answered yes. I know she told her, and i hear them talking about me. She did not like me from what i heard. The trippy part is she acts like she likes me, and our friendship has gotten bigger. I am so confused. i dont know what to do. i mean if i tell her my feelings, she might say no, and our friendship becomes akward. but if i dont tell her my feelings, i might lose her. I mean, i think i really like this girl, i never felt like this towards anyone. What do you guys think?

Out of the blue in his apartment he starts making a move on me. I stopped it from getting too far and left his place. I have been friends with him through class. I was so excited because I thought that he really liked me. Then he said he was just acting like a guy. And he's still getting over his relationship from a year and a half ago. He just wants to be friends. My heart was broken. Is he bitter because he didn't go all the way or are people this needy after breakups? I never really had a long term one. I can't say.

i'm working this play (costumes and makeup) at my grammar school (im a jr, 17) and theres this kid who is the biggest flirt ever. at first i thought that's all he was, a flirt. but lately he's been saying things and the way he's acting i dont think it's harmless flirting anymore. how can i gently tell him off without hurting his feelings? (he's only in 8th gd.)

I hate having a really good opinion of a guy, thinking he's sweet, funny, cute, and polite, and then feeling like a complete idiot who just got played when I see him acting like a jerk with his friends. It's come to the point that I'm surprised to find a sweet guy - like "it's true, you do exist!"

I get so confused because sometimes I realize that a guy is really nice, but he just doesn't have the backbone to stand up to his friends and be himself, whatever his true self his, - and I just end up moving on to the next one who's exactly the same way.

Ladies, have you figured out how to separate the sweet guys from the two-faced ones?

I feel ok enough for every day without any makeup (except to cover undereye circles) and bf tells me i'm beautiful. But on the days I wear makeup (light foundation, blush, mascara etc) he tells me I am H-O-T. What exactly does that even mean? Is it better to be beautiful or hot?

Okay...so my HUGEST crush asked me out and I said yes. We have been BEST friends since the beginning of 6th grade. (If you see some of my other questions about my "crush" you'll probably know who I am talking about.) Well, anyway, we don't really hold hands. I mean, we are a lot closer. Like we walk extremeley close and stuff in the hallways and all, but he doesn't hold my hand. Everybody used to play around with us saying we were going out when we were just really good friends. Is he embarrassed to hold my hand or is he just too embarrassed to grab my hand in case I don't want him to? Or should I be the one who grabs his hand? a coulpe weeks ago i went to my best friends b-day party well he had his friend Jesse over. whom i like a lot since 3rd grade and i'm 14! long time... but the whole weekend there was flirting non stop well when we were making are beds well i asumed that jerms little cuz would sleep w/ me just once i have the bed made jesse blops down on the bed and says, " i'm watching Tv here! K?" of course i say yay! well we get cofi and jerm had fell a sleep and his little cuz was sleeping rite next to him so we had no chioce and well we can say there was touching...that i liked! well latly i've been wanting a boy friend and i think he likes me... no i know he likes me!!! well he slept w/ me 2 nites in a row! but i can't ask him out cause i have but he had a gf and he didn't want to ruin "OUR" friend ship and he is popular and older not much but still the REAL QUESTION SHOULD I LIKE HIM OR NOT??

I know I keep complaining about it, but my boy and I just split up (he doesn't have feelings for me anymore), and it hurts something awful... I keep crying and blanking out, I can't focus, I've been binge eating 2 days straight, I can't sleep, and even when I laugh and smile I still feel awful. Say you had this really good female friend who you had an absolutely noticable and strong connection with. The girl is also real pretty. My girlfriend and I have been fighting and she told me that shes not as attracted to me anymore. So I need some advice. This is the way I see it. Things will be going great and then she will get mad at me for something rediculous. the other day she got mad because I couldnt remember where I put a gift that she had gotten me a year ago. She stayed mad at me the whole night and left me alone at a party where I knew no one. I later remembered that night where it was and told her I knew where it was. She called me a liar and still ignored me. When I got home I found the gift just like I said I would....and I told her I had it. Her reply was simply....well good. She would not apologize even after knowing she was wrong. I do not understand this. Why cant she just admit she made a mistake. She told me today that she feels like all I do is complain to her about never being able to admit when shes wrong...and told me she feels inferior to me. I need help bad....please help!

Ive been going out w/ a guy for 4 months and i feel we are ready to start kissing on the cheek. I have never kissed anyone before and have know idea on how or what to do. Me and my boy friend have been together for 11 mo almost. and last night he told me that he loves me and loves other things too, like fishing and hunting... him and his dad are really close... and i think his dad has told him that he spends too much time with me and he also tells him that i have his balls in my purse! but anyways he would rather go fishing and hunting than be with me. and i seriously base my life around his. i try to spend as much time with him as possible. but im thinking i should'nt be so avaliable. what do you guys think?? im not really a kind of person that will tell anyone my problems but this is kinda bugging me... do you think he really loves me?

I've got someone on my mind and just can't get them out. We're not dating, but I like him. I see him usually 3 or 4 times a week, and lately we've been spending more time together. I'm still trying to figure out if he likes me too. I hate it because I sound like I have some high school crush, but we're in our mid-late 20s. I just can't get this guy out of my head!
