Say you had this really good female friend who you had an absolutely noticable and strong connection with. The girl is also real pretty. You have the exact same sense of humor and you think the girl is an absolute genuinely nice and hilarious girl, would you try and take this further, into a dating relationship or would you be happy just being friends?

I had a relationship like this once. Notice I said "had". We ended up sleeping together and it trashed the whole relationship.Long story, short, we haven't talked for 3 years.I regret it to this day.

Not to sound offensive, but if she had a paper bag on her head, yet still the sense of humor, the agreeable personality, and the general makings of a great person, i would still take the jump to a dating relationship. The only problem is if u break up messily, the friendship option is gone. But you sound like you got something good going here, so go for it. Just make sure you commit wholeheartedly, and don't look back. IT might hurt your heart in the end if you do break up, but you feel better about yourself since the relationship was sincere, it just didn't work.

Maybe this is just me, but if you didn't want to hear it you wouldn't have asked hehe.. When I first meet someone, or even look at them - I realize whether or not I would be perfectly happy with them as a friend or a girlfriend.. plus also remember that people can always "grow on you" .. but either way, if you don't know if the relationship you have is going to go romantically or not, why not push in a couple of hints eh?
I love when girls compliment me.

Do I understand correctly? This would be a lesbian affair? Or you talking about yourself and how a guy would react. Sorry but you did not make it clear. As you describe this girl it is clear she is a catch. Most men have dreams about such women.

well, it depends. it could go both ways. if you feel really attracted to this girl and you think its gonna work out then go for it. if you think the relationship is gonna be a little weird then dont do it beacuse it might leave some awkwardness in your friendship. i think you should just make up your mind because she could be taken at any moment. that happened to me once and it sucked

TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL
100% YES...
friends are only friends if you "don't" have the connection.
