2.5 years and at one point we were "On the same page" but he moved away, two states away and wanted me to join him, but do to family issues I could not...I still love him; Even though I know he has moved on...How do I shake these feelings? I have been on other dates, but I compare every man to him...

What are you waiting for???? Find him. Try to re-kindle the relationship. If he is not married, then he has not completely moved on. If the love was mutual, the feeling you are having could be to.
The worst will be that you will have to move on without him....and isn't that already what you have been trying to do?"

you cannot help the way you feel for this man. and as it has been awhile, you know these feelings aren't going to go away.
if he is still unattached--i would go see him. tell him how you feel and see what happens. or if you think you might get rejected, write him a letter or send him an e-mail instead, leave the next step up to him. you will know if he still wants you--he won't make you wait long before answering.

Well one thing about love is... you can't compare it. Know two people will ever make you feel the same way. Long distant relationships are complicated and rarely work. I woul say keep your options open and continue to date other people.

Stop comparing and start living your live. Time and distance changes everything. You need to take care of your family issues. Allow yourself to let go.

In my eyes -you only love once in a life time... Give it one last shot! Try contacting him and come right out and ask. Is it still salvageable????? If not, move on, you will carry him in your heart, forever... good luck!
