Oh gosh, you shouldn't even be asking yourself the question! Please bear in mind that most women who have been in violent relationship say that they were convinced that the men loved them. Don't wait until you have to explain to a perplexed doctor how you got that bruise on your arm from mashing potatoes...
Best wishes ;-)

He screwed up, you didn't, first & foremost. Like the other person said, it doesn't matter what you said, nothing justifies him laying a hand on you. A real man would walk away, go work out & take his frustrations out properly. Dont' let him suck you back in because the next time you might not be here to talk about it. I'm sure you have seen aggression or anger from him before, maybe just not physically. It only gets worse & not better from here, he's someone elses problem now. I'm sorry you are hurting but please don't go back to him. He deserves some low life like he is.

Seems like he needs to try out the classes at the stress management or something. To hit someone with the excuse of being stressed or angry is not an excuse at all. Just think, if everyone behaves like him then people will get all bruised up and hospitals and X-ray sections would be full of injured people. So ridiculous right?

WHAT EVER YOU SAID....even if you told him you wished his mother died. There is no reason sweety for any man to put his hands on a woman. That is just wrong, and he's a coward for doing that to your poor delicate face. How could he? NO NO NO you are not in love, you are in love with the idea of how it use to be, before he put his hands on you. Please....please....please do not accept him again....not even like a friend. Good luck!

DO NOT GIVE HIM ANOTHER CHANCE!!! my ex husband was like tht wen we dated and i gave him a second and third chance cuz i still loved him but he turned out to be abusive and once i was married it took me 3 years to get out of tht marriage. Rlly the best way to get over him is to just find another guy but be cautious and dont seem vulnerable or it could happen again. you just hv to be cautious i hope this helps....

he sounds like any other abuser..they try to make it seem like you were the one who did something wrong. And its not you..its him.try to stay away from him because no matter what he tries to promise you he isn't going to change. And of course you love him but love yourself more not to fall for his bull..no one has the right to put their hands on you and harm you..no matter what.
