i was debating whether or not i should get a pair of plaid shorts along with a light blue polo from hollister. i think it'll look good, but i didn't know if girls like those kinds of shorts. i believe they're a light color, like a light brown or something

I met a 25 yo girl at church last month. she seems confident and she keeps wanting to start a conversations with me.

She asked for my email and phone number one night which I politely gave her so she can send me additional info on the group which she did. why did she need my phone number?

Last week when she was leaving church with her friends she told me we can have coffee to discuss anything. I took no notice at the time.

Last night I saw her at church gathering. We made about 5 silent eye contacts in which she keeps looking away. She started small talk with me again. During the night I notice we kept making silent eye contacts. She would look away quickly. but when she was leaving she hardly gave me a nice goodbye like she did with everyone else.

This girls actions are confusing...

I was in a accident 4 months ago because of drinking and I did get in trouble with the law. I was seriously injured, lucky to be alive. Since then I haven"t drank a drop of alcohol. So am I ready for a girlfriend? She is so caring and super nice. I have never met a girl like this before.

My guy is deployed and he's asked me if I'd like to go with him to visit his mom in another state when he comes back. Now, maybe I'm looking too much into this, but I'm thinking this could be a big step and I'm finally getting somewhere with him... am I wrong and he just wants a travel buddy? We have been dating almost one year...neither of us has said "I love you" outright...or given each other cards, notes, etc. with those words on it...romantic cards, etc., but never the actual words...we are exclusive and a great together...get along wonderfully...he is great...I do love him and want to tell him so. However......I think it will make me too vulnerable without knowing, definitely, how he feels about me, so I am afraid to say it first...what do you think I should do...our one year anniversary is coming up in about two weeks and I thought it might be the right time to tell him...should I?

Well, my bestfriend has a boyfriend, Ross. They have been having a lot of "problems". And....yes. I like him as more than a friend andat times I think he likes me as more than a friend, too. I talked to him and he said that he was gonna break up with her....I talked to her and she said she was gonna break up with him. Well, I don't care who breaks up with who, but I really wanna go out with him! I just don't know how to go about it! My best friend is kind of aggraving and we both know it so it's like we're on some "secret" team or something! LOL I really like him, I just don't know how to tell him! I don't even know where to start, but this whole thing is making me resentful more and more!

He's a devoted Catholic, I'm Catholic too, but I'm not a fanatic, I do believe and all, but I still consider myself to be pretty realistic when it comes to matter of life, and since I started dating him, he wants me to change the way I live, the biggest struggles have been the music I listen to, nothing Satanic (like he refers to ALL music), but you know, Reggae, R&B, some pop (not all), and some oldies... But him, oh my, he thinks ALL music is evil, and no matter what the message is, he still thinks it was created in hell (with those exact words), so now I find myself trapped between the sword and the wall, because I do love him, but oh my, I LOVE MUSIC, I've been a huge music listener since I'm 4!!! It makes me wanna cry to think that the life that awaits me and my children, is a world without music...

I am out of the dating game quite awhile. Only because I have been in bootcamp, and lots of other training. I am looking for a nice,pretty girl. But the kicker is, I have been hurt alot in past relationships. I need some advice to help me get back in the dating game. Whenever I see a really pretty girl I get tongue-tied, and just plan dumb. Because I feel like any good looking girl is outa my leauge. Ever time I get the courage to do anything time just runs out and I have to go somewhere else. So please help me. PLEASE!!!

i finally decided after 400 yahoo questions to leave the guy i was seeing alone. i kept taking him back and listening to his broken promises. getting the same result each time. hoping for a change but it never came. now i feel i wasted 2 1/2 yrs of my life crying and being sad for nothing and i feel like an idiot for taking a guy back that could care less. he treats me with no respect and i allowed him to keep coming back. he was no good for me and i kept taking him back. cuz he did at one time and different occasions acted like he cared. can anyone tell me something positive cuz i keep beating myself up. one minute im strong and the next minute i feel like im meaningless. cuz why would someone treat me that way when i was only good to them. i told him off in the end and i just need something positive in my life. i wish the pain would just go away. im so tired mentally. i wasted 2 1/2 yrs on this guy. i knew deep down i should have left him alone. so what was i thinking?

I've been missing a girl for 11 months. I hadn't been bugging her since she didn't want to talk to me anymore. We said hi occasionally, I thought things would be cool between us. I tried to talk to her. I said Hey how are you? She said nothing. I tried to talk about how she was helping with something (she was inactive at the moment). Still nothing. I told her I know we haven't talked in the longest time (I liked her, then fell in love with her, but she never liked me back), but I only wanted us to be friends again. I couldn't bring myself to say I missed her because it seemed like she wasn't hearing me. She kept her back turned towards me, unlike when I saw her sneak so many glances at me this past year. She texted on her phone. She never even looked at me, never said a word. I wanted to say what I felt about her, but all my feelings about her besides "I love you" wouldn't come up. I wanted to say I love you. I just said "ok, I get the point, you don't have to say anything else.

We dated for about a year and a half and everything was perfect. we had a few arguments but nothing out the ordinary. Then my family started having issues when my grandfather died and I broke up with the intentions of getting back together until I re found myself again. We still saw each other and had dinner and movies, but without the title. Then I had to move and I went to san diego and while down there for about three weeks I realized that I couldnt and didnt want to spend another minute without him. when I told him he had found someone else. I told him that I loved him and wanted him. he confessed that he knew he should of waited. Well theyre still together and its been eight months. How do I get over someone that I have ever truly loved. Im not my normal self, my eating habits arent the same, and im always depressed. How can I be the old me and get him out of my head. everything reminds me of him. there isnt a day where he isnt in my head. please help I need some advice.

so i dated this great guy for about 7 months and he broke things off because he said it felt like we were more "buddies" then bf/gf......this was ok with me, we decided to be "friends" (with benis)......so we have been hanging out alot more the normal here in the last 2 weeks, last week he told me he loved me.......not as a friend, we were both a little drunk so I played it off...but the other night the conversation came up again and he told me again......he knows I love him and I know he is not saying these things to get me in the sack because of our "arrangement".......not sure what to think or what to do!!!!! I feel that me and my best friend are so close - we've been cool for 3 years and i feel like he trusts me ALOT. He's the "shy boy" type when it comes to girls but outgoing with friends. He doesn't like to gossip, talk bad about people and usually keeps his mouth shut. But with me, he'll tell me things that no one's even supposed to know - stuff about him and his guy friends and their little secrets. He'll only talk to me about his family (he doesn't talk much about them usually) and he posted this about me:

"this girl - i can talk to her about anything and EVERYTHING. She understands and gets me - we can talk on the phone for hours and it only seems like 5 minutes..."

It's a good thing, right? Seems like the guy gives me a high amount of respect and admiration, right?

I have this friend who likes this girl. He asked her out but she rejected him so now he's really hurt. And lately she's been avoiding him, which is making him even more depressed. So obviously he still likes her. I don't know what kind of advice to give except for the typical "move on". Any tips?
