I have this friend who likes this girl. He asked her out but she rejected him so now he's really hurt. And lately she's been avoiding him, which is making him even more depressed. So obviously he still likes her. I don't know what kind of advice to give except for the typical "move on". Any tips?

Take him on a blind date! Set him up with someone. Show him that there are plenty of other girls out there.

Find a new target for your affection. It's pretty obvious that this thing with this girl is not going to happen. Besides once he starts looking at other women, she might be less likely to avoid him in the future.

Nice of you to care so much. He'll be okay over time. She probably just feels awkward around him now. She won't go through that much trouble to advoid him after a while, so things will seem more like they were before he asked her out.

tell him to build up some confidence... And Im not making fun of him or anything... but depression on something like this is closely related with a low self-esteem. He only likes her, he doesnt love her... so yes, it's a "move on" kinda advice... but he needs to!

Tell him.. shes missing out a great guy...
he will find someone hopefully soon. She must not be the right one for him.... Its just takes time.

I feel bad that happened to him... Thats horrible
I wish him the best! =))

why don't you get his mind off of her, like go with a group of friends somewhere and then he'll get over her slowly, day by day
