Dude NO WAY!!!!! 99.9% of rock and roll is way older than you, btw rock could really use your help right now. As a matter of fact, I think you should wear some even older bands' shirts, like the Doors, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Nugent, Tom Petty, The Black Crows, etc. just to keep the genre alive! Rock on man!

It all depends on what your goals are when you are dressing. In an ordinary workplace, they don't really fit. If you're in the music business, no problem. Think about what message you are trying to give people about yourself. If you're looking for marriage and family, or a job as a teacher, drop the T-shirts.
Since you've asked the question, it probably means that you're reaching the stage in life where your goals extend beyond looking cool or appearing to be a fun person. Either you or your friends is beginning to realize that there's much more to you as a person.
Don't ditch the shirts entirely. There's a time and place for everything. Definitely wear them at home and when you're out in restaurants or clubs. But if there are good reasons to add other styles to your wardrobe to send different messages, do it!

There is a time and a place for everything, as they say. If I were going for a job interview at a bank, I wouldn't wear a rock n roll shirt, but in your free time - mate, wear whatever you feel comfortable in! You don't need anyone's approval.

You only as old as you act. Mick Jagger is like 70 and he still wears rock n roll tshirts. If it doesn't interfere with your job or social life then wear what you like.

never to old I wear them a lot and I'm 40 I love my t-shirts I know when and where to wear them.....plus I feel comfortable wearing them.....ROCK ON!!!!

It depends on the band. If your wearing T - shirts of bands that don't exist anymore, .... that is a bad thing. Still, don't wear any concert T's if you are out to pick up a girl.
