Honey, there are a lot of men that love smart girls, the problem is that they often don't go after them for fear of rejection. If you see a guy out there that you like, why don't you flirt a bit and then you ask them to hang out. You will probably find the man of your dreams. Don't let your brains be your stumbling block. Use them to get your man, not repel a man. Everyone loves to be around someone that is happy, and enjoys life. People love funny people. So learn to laugh at yourself and NOT take yourself so seriously. Smart people have so many opportunities. So don't rush it, wait, pray about it and until you find Mr. Right, go enjoy life and travel, finish your schooling and get a good job, buy a home and start living for yourself. You will be shocked how some day you will wake up and Mr. Right will have entered your life. Don't rush it, just live, and enjoy life. If it is important for you to have a man right now, go to one of those places that matches you with the right person. Put your application in that tells about you and they will find you a perfect match, or so they claim.

Funny question. You want to know if any guys like smart girls... except for the "nerdy" ones. Doesn't that make you just as guilty of the same prejudice against smart people?
Smart guys typically are interested in smart girls. I couldn't stand being around a girl for very long if she were brainless.

Absolutely. I'm definitely not a "nerd"... I played football, baseball, and hockey in high school and ran with the jock crowd even though I'm not a jock either... I love a young lady who can argue her opinion on this political issue, that social injustice, this statistic, or that book. I want a girl who is capable of pointing out an error that I made in grammar. Able to recall the capital of Alaska or some other obscure random fact that a lay person doesn't know or care about. I love girls who know more than one language, particularly spanish since that is the language I am interested in. All of this knowledge or intellect is very attractive to me especially if she can be beautiful and graceful while logically undermining my opinion. But when it comes down to it, I don't want someone who is impressively smart; I would like a pretty young lady who I connect with.

My boyfriend did. Then again I guess he is an ex-nerd.... Um.. I can pretty confidently say that I'm a smart girl but I'm also a pretty girl... Uh... I'm sorry, this is of no help. The answer is a resounding yes; don't lose hope.

Absolutely. I think it's a bad stereotype for men when people think we only want women for their looks. Not true. I personally respect a woman with intellect, and someone who is a good conversationalist.
And I'm not "nerdy", actually I am a biker.

i think when guys are in high school they mostly look at the physical. they dont want a girl who seems smarter than they are. but when men get older they have no choice but to look past the physical cuz eventually you would want to have an intelligent conversation with ur significant other. being smart can be very sexy.
