Singles & Dating - 4 March 2007

Im really getting annoyed with it. I mean hes all, "I love you. Will you go out with me?" (he says it over a text message) Ok were friends, kinda, like he hangs out with us (me and all my friends) at lunch.

This is what really annoys me. He went out with my best friend. He said he loved her so she went out with him. He broke up with her....3 times! The begining of Febuary he got a new gf after telling her he loved her. A week later they broke up. Last week he had another gf, he said he loved her, he broke up with her by the end of the week. Oh and hes asked everyone of my friends out, then dumped them.

He has asked me out 3 times now (over a period of 2 years) and I really wish he would just stop. What do I do. I dont really wanna go talk to him about it. Do I just ignore him, because it kinda makes me feel sick when I think about all this. Im sorry, but I just really dont like him.

HElp me out people why do guys text you ask you out and then?
not text you for a bit. I met this guy hr text me asked me out on the weekend and then said he was busy but could meet the week after. The i text him and he does not reply. He has my friends coat i left it at a party and said he wouldget it and drop it to me in person so why is he not texting he me when the night before he text me said 'how you doin?' yeah let catch up next week...weird

My dad will get mad when I wear a skirt. He dosent like when guys look at me either. I dont get it, the guy needs to lighten up. I cant look nice without him saying change the outfit. I say why he says I am a guy i know how they think. Whats wrong with him? Other people can wear skirts but I cant. I cant dress 'sexy'? Is he old fashioned or is this normal?

well this guy my cousins cousin and somewat related to me

there is this girl on my bus she is cute and all i just dont know if she likes me cause whenever i talk to my friend she buts in and starts talkin to me and ill talk to her back and she smiles and she has her legs cross but i cant tell if there pointed at me or not cause of the seats but i was tellin evryone by and she said to me y i got to be last and to me i dont know whats the big deal about it cause ill see her tommorow .

If you've known someone for about half a year online, and are really fond of her and would like to meet her for the first time, what is the recommended way to go about asking her this? Especially if you're both really close in communicating online and you genuinely mean well, and would never hurt her?

Any advice would be deeply appreciated.

Well, we started off in July 2006, and just recently she broke it off out of nowhere. Then a couple days after the fact, she told me that she had cheated on me. This guy friend she hardly knew initiated it, he got his way for a short while before she stopped it. The irony was that he only accomplished that, no kissing or other kinds of touching. This was like a one night stand and she feels totally disgusted with her own behavior. Right now, she says she wants to be with me and only me, but just not right now. She still talks about marrying me and all that, but she wanted me to give her some time to forgive herself for this, before my forgiving her is an issue. I told her, I'll be her friend in the mean time, and we'll see later on. But I'm leaning towards giving her another chance, since it was a mistake. It's bad, but I'm just not sure.

I'll be checking back here often, so anyone can ask questions for me to clarify the situation.

I would do anything for my boyfriend of two years and he is definately my top priority, but he claims going to school for his career is the most important thing to him and that nothing is going to get in the way of that. And then he spends most all of his time with his best friend and I only see him on saturday nights usually. I feel like im always on the back burner. He never seems happy or too terribly excited to see me either, he says thats because we talk on the phone every night. Does anyone think this is normal? I love him so much but it really doesnt seem like he feels the same way, but could he just show his emotions differently? Im in way over my head and so confused and hurt. I would love to hear some advice.

So many of my friends catch their men cheating but chooses to go fight the woman instead of their man. Meanwhile these men are usually watching and laughing. How do I get it across to my friends that they need to beat the SH** out of HIM and move on!!! Forget the other woman.

Why is it that Michael Jackson is so popular among the women?

Now, there are some things in life that I just don't understand. I mean, why on earth do women get so excited about Michael Jackson? Is it his exciting dance moves? His Musical Talent? His love and compassion for children?

My own personal theory is that they like him because of his rebellious image. Ever since he released the "Bad" album, women have looked at him like a modern day James Dean, or something.

What do you think? Why do women like Michael so much?

I guess you could say I’m confused to how I feel about my ex-girlfriend, after her breaking up with me 3 years ago last month. The fact that she has added me to her msn list about 6 months back and we’ve been chatting again isn’t helping the situation. After all this time I’m still single and still have some feelings for her. I know that’s crazy, but it’s hard to imagine being with someone else. I know one day I will eventually meet someone, but for now these feelings for her still remain.
I guess my question is what is the typical reason for girls to attempt contact with their ex? Is she interested in becoming friends? Does she have intentions to get back together? Is she just seeing what’s become of me and making sure I got on with my life?...
Any thoughts? I personally want to work on a friendship with her, but I’m unsure how that will work out. If I had a chance to get back together with her I would also consider it, but my friends and family would be so against it…I'm confused

Ive been dating a very cute girl lately. She is pretty good but I dont have much feelings for her that ways. Should I just tell her that blandly or should I keep on going around with her, explore her more and then take a decision later. i really like this guy and i know he likes me, not only from the way he acts, constantly touching me and asking for hugs but also because he told my friend he likes me. I know he likes me a lot and that if i asked him out he would say yes, the thing is tho up until recently hes been obsessed with my best friend, she has no feelings for him so nothing ever happened. I've been going out with him for a while now, but he always stares at my friend constantly. Even before we were going out he would stare at her, as well as me. Why would he do this? It bothers me because it makes me feel insecure and that she is better than me.
