i really like this guy and i know he likes me, not only from the way he acts, constantly touching me and asking for hugs but also because he told my friend he likes me. I know he likes me a lot and that if i asked him out he would say yes, the thing is tho up until recently hes been obsessed with my best friend, she has no feelings for him so nothing ever happened. He says he doesnt like her anymore but im not so sure, i still get the feeling when hes around her that he does like her. Basically i dont want to tell him how i feel and jepordise our friendship if when we do go out il feel second best all the time. Should i go for it now or leave it and risk missing my chance?

Life is one big risk, if you really like him go for it what have you to lose.
Every thing you do in life is a risk, so take the bull by the horns and just go for it.
If he has told your friend, may be he feels embraced to ask you direct, as he might feel if you say no he would feel rejected.
From what you have said I think he thinks of her as a good friend and that is all.
Also your best friend has told you she is not interested in him, it may be that he is showing her some kind of attention, hoping you will notice.
And that it might make you take the first step.

Ask him out. So what he's taking an interest in your best friend. It isn't like he's got any chance of going out with her. So go for it; don't waste anytime. Good Luck.

I think he's a player. I hate it when one guy like a girl soo much and then he likes her best friend. I WONT BUY IT! He's just looking for some action.

in my opinion hes just a player coz he likes you and your friend... if you like him you can tell him but be ready to b played like a fool... if he likes you i think he'll eventually tell you... but u never know he might to shy to tell u...if its realy meant to be then it will happen...

he can do the same thing wat he did 4ur friend,dont trust him,
he could change,touching or asking 4 hugs doesnt mean that he loves u.i think he just wants to fullfill his desires
