he keeps talking about marriage but it seems like its never gonna happen. I am starting to get frustrated and impatient what should i do?

Well if you love him you should wait. And remember him being in the military, he will be gone for long periods of time. If you can't handle it then being with a military man isn't for you.

With him being in the military you'll have to be patient. He will never know where he's going to be next week. He could end up being sent off to anywhere in the world at the drop of a hat. You'll be left at home alone when this happens. Being a military wife (or husband) is no bed of roses.

Straight up ask him when the wedding will take place. Tell h im that you know that he has a lot on his mind with his job & that if he could give you a date then you can start the wedding pans & all he would have to do would be to show up. See what happens. This will let you know exactly where you stand.

just be careful with military marriages. I was one and I have never seen a large aveune for divorces. Its a difficult road to lead

you have been dating him for this long but, you really don't know him as he's never around and changing to a different person while he is gone.
