I have liked a boy from the beginning of the school year. He's 2 years older than me. He would always flirt and stuff, but that's just the way he is. I don't know if he's ever had a relationship, and he is just friends with a lot of girls.So Valentine's Day came around, and he was talking to me again, flirting and making comments, asking if I had any plans for the spring formal dance, which wastwo weeks away, and told me that he was going to ask his girl tomorrow, which would be V-day. He asked her, it wasn't me. I decided to finally give up, even though I knew I still liked him. But then his bbf, also two years older than me, starts talknig to me. To make a long story short, he asked me to formal and I said yes. He was really nice. At formal he told me he likes me but doesn't want to rush things, etc, etc. Now inside me, I know I have the feeling that I like someone, but I feel like it's no longer the first one, but idk if it's the new one. I've never been this confused. Which one?

i beat up my gf and dumped her (she keeps calling at strange hours and leaves text messages on my cell about love and other crap), go to town 5 out of 7 days of the week, get drunk, pick up girls and go with them to hotels. PROBLEM : every friend of mine has a relationship of one or 2 years and they are all telling me I'm not doing things right !!! what is the problem here ?!

I've known this guy forever and liked him a lot too...lately I've been getting pretty sure signs that he's gonna ask me out, such as when he gave me a "grow a perfect boyfriend" for my birthday, was disapointed when I wasn't gonna open it in front of him, and told me he had to talk to me in the next few days. If he does ask me out, I don't know whether to say yes and risk our friedship, or say no which would disapoint both of us just to save the friendship.

this guy i've been seeing for a while has children and he keeps saying that he doesn't i've seen pictures of the kids from his friends and on myspace......i told him about it and he keeps denying it ......i feel that he's uncomfortable telling me but i want him to know that its okay all my friends have kids except me i love kids so i dont know why he's hiding this from me people that know him are also saying that he just went through a divorce but he tells me that he was never married or has kids even though that's not true. How can i get him to be comfortable and tell me the truth? i'm not going to treat him different because of his past and i want him to understand that because if he doesn't it will mess us up.

My boyfriend and I have always been honest with each other, but lately he'd been acting strange. He'd be on AIM while I was sleeping, chatting. Even when I was awake. Whenever I'd approach, he'd hide the window quickly, and pretend that nothing was up. Red flags raised.

Yesterday morning while he was out, I went onto the AIM service and read the logs that they keep of chats, and saw that he was talking with a girl that he had met about two weeks ago. They were being flirty, but I didn't think that anything was wrong, until he suggested meeting up and fooling around, saying that he was supposed to hang out with friends but if he could get out of it, he wanted to meet her for an hour or so.

I cried for five hours. I printed out the conversation, highlighted his remarks, and pinned it to the front door to read when he returned. I contacted the girl who assured me that nothing happened. My boy and I talked about it for hours, but I still can't get over it. I feel betrayed,

It started out when I met this guy online and he talked to me. From there we built a friendship and realized that we wanted more so started to really invest in building something. We were apart because although we were both moving to New York, he was going a good month before I was. He told me that he thought it was fate that we met, and that he was feeling about me a way he had never felt before. He told me that love was an emotion he wasn't going to feel but I somehow changed that. I told him I couldn't tell him that I loved him if I wasn't completely sure I meant it. After that he started to act really distant and now It's to the point where he doesn't pick up his phone when I call. Does this mean that he's finished? I don't understand how he could say he felt so strongly about me and then just stop talking to me.

I've gotten to hang out with this girl for sometime now and we've become pretty good friends, such as daily chatting, or texting. Anyways, she always brings up a situation where guys (many of them recently) confesses they likes her and she alway tells me she blows them off. She even goes as far as pasting her conversations in a chatbox for me to read. She has claimed that i am like a best frien d to her and that she is my personal stalker. Why is she doing this?

I feel like this is a warning (like dun ruin the friendship)? I do see her as a good friend though.

Reasons i might think otherwise are that she spends time during her work to write me letters, calls me during breaks to grab food, and quotes chat conversation from and puts it into her profile.

Is she trying to make me jealous because i feel like this is more intimidating?

Hello everyone. I recently had a close friend of mine move away from Ohio [where I live], down to Florida about a month ago. It was the saddest day of my life. We became very close not too long before she moved, and I started to realize I was falling in love with her, but never had the nerve to tell her.

Once she moved I couldn't handle myself. All I could think about day and night was her, and one day I finally called her and told her [this was about a week after she had moved]. It turned out she had felt the exact same way about me but never told me as well.

So now we are 12 hours of a drive apart, helplessly in love with each other, and we don't know what to do. We talk on the phone constantly everyday and just always think of how we can be together.

Anyone have any ideas? They would be appreciated.

My boyfriends mom hates me and she says its because i am rude when I barley even talk to her I say hi to her and ask her how her day is every time I see her. And she acts like everything is okay but when she is around my boyfriend she calls me all these names. And my boyfriend and her got in an arguement last night and she kept saying all this stuff about he can do better than me and everything. I dont know how to get her to like me. I find that my boyfriend and I go through cycles - we are fine for a period of time then we argue for what seems like a month. And when we do, it's not pretty sometimes. But then it's like once the fight is out, we just start being all loving again. How often do you fight with your mate? Do the fights get intense? How do you finally make up?

Why do people get so head up about this thing called love? Does it really exist? I have never seen it, but I do see the beauty in this world & to me that is so much better than another human being. Am I just being a Joe Black character & see all the evil out there? I really don't get love to me I have found more love with a stranger.

so i really like this guy. he used to know i liked him, but he never asked me out. we talk all the time, and he has never had a girlfriend. he tells me things about himself, and i tell him things about me. we have conversation, not monologue, and im pretty much the only girl he talks to. he is really quiet, but when you get to know him, he talks a lot, but not too much. as of late, hes been asking me about myself and what classes im taking next year (were in seventh grade now) and he says that hes probably gonna do two of the elective im in after i told him i was doing them. do you think he likes me? oh yeah and he also tells me like if my makeup looks good and what he doesnt and does like about what i wear, but usually the day after i wear whatever it is he doesnt like. and two days ago, he just scooted a chair up next to me and started talking to me. usually when we talk, hes on one side of the table and im on the other. what shoud i do? thanks to everyone who read all this info!!!!!

my house mate just met this guy via internet dating hes really clingy and doesnt like her to be alone at weekend he is younger lives with his mum and dad she has recntly brought a house and i know it awful but i do think he is a bit of gold digger. They have only known each other for one week and already are looking at houses. When I was about 18 years old, I got asked out to a date by this guy. He seemed fine, nice enough guy. We got the bus to the cinema (he didn't drive a car) and all the way there he kept using his mouth freshener as if he was hoping for a kiss. I was sitting on the bus thinking 'what the heck?' and eventually asked him. He said he had a sore throat (yeah yeah right(!). When we arrived at the cinema, he went and purchased one ticket for himself then went and bought himself drinks and popcorn (for himself - didn't even ask me). I was amused by this... I had money on me so I could buy myself a ticket and a drink. When we went in to see the film which was 'The Vanishing' (remake with Kiefer Sutherland). I just put my coat in the middle of the seat so he could not try anything funny with me. ha ha.
I just sat and enjoyed the whole film.... my date seemed bored and was not too happy about being at arm's length.
After I politely thanked him for the 'date' and went home. haha
