Hello everyone. I recently had a close friend of mine move away from Ohio [where I live], down to Florida about a month ago. It was the saddest day of my life. We became very close not too long before she moved, and I started to realize I was falling in love with her, but never had the nerve to tell her.

Once she moved I couldn't handle myself. All I could think about day and night was her, and one day I finally called her and told her [this was about a week after she had moved]. It turned out she had felt the exact same way about me but never told me as well.

So now we are 12 hours of a drive apart, helplessly in love with each other, and we don't know what to do. We talk on the phone constantly everyday and just always think of how we can be together.

Anyone have any ideas? They would be appreciated.

Damn it! Why did you wait for so long to tell her this? Well, if you both think you can handle long distance relationships it might work. You can visit each other whenever you have a free week, meaning no school or take off a week from work when you possibly can. She also could do just the same. In addition, talk on the phone everyday. I know friends who are in a similar situation you are in and it seem to work fine for them.

Well you guys can see each other on breaks and holidays, and keep calling each other. Don't loose touch for a second. You guys can make it work.

Keep calling her and send her gifts. On holidays you can see each other somewhere convienient. As long as you keep in touch, things will go ok.
