I've known this guy forever and liked him a lot too...lately I've been getting pretty sure signs that he's gonna ask me out, such as when he gave me a "grow a perfect boyfriend" for my birthday, was disapointed when I wasn't gonna open it in front of him, and told me he had to talk to me in the next few days. If he does ask me out, I don't know whether to say yes and risk our friedship, or say no which would disapoint both of us just to save the friendship.

I'd go for it, but keep the friendship first priority. Just because you go out doesn't mean that you'll ruin the friendship.

If you like him enough to be his boyfriend, then say yes. If you don't say no. Friendships come and go, but having a real friend as your boyfriend would probably be cool.

assuming that your intuition is correct, i can't quite tell whether you feel the same way about him. if you do feel the same way then in my opinion you should give it a chance (if it doesn't work, just go back to being friends), otherwise just be honest and tell him that you aren't interested.

well...i went throught the same thing not too long ago..so here goes..if you feel you like him too...when he asks you out(wait for him to do it) tell him you want to "try" it, but if you feel it isnt working, you want to go back to being friends, but make sure he understands how serious you are, tell him u have feelings for him, but u wouldnt want anything to ruin your frindship, give it a shot, if it feels akward, talk to him, its the most important thing....good luck.....
