i like a guy but we know eachother too well and for too long. His parents know my parents and if we got together everyone in school and my friends and family would be surprised. THey never saw it comming. But i like him too much to give it up! what do i do? does the public matter?

I'm 20 years old, have been on one date (she came onto me, so I aked her out), and it didn't go well. The girl went from having the hots for me and calling me every day, to not calling at all in 3 weeks. Problem is, I'm VERY shy and unless I really know a person, am very uncomfortable talking to people. I don't think practice will help here because I've been this way for my whole life. When I see a pretty girl or something, I think to myself, "Given the choice, why would a girl be with me? I"m boring to be around, I don't know how to make a girl feel special, I don't have friends.." My only redeeming quality is that I can be funny (but not unless I know a person well, which is hard to do for me) and I've been told (by the girl i went out with) I was good looking (that's why she came onto me).

What are your thought?
How do I convince myself otherwise?

It all started a couple months ago, one of my friends (now a freshman in college) was telling me stories of how fun prom was. I decided that I wanted to try and find a date, as a sophomore. I asked one of my friends, who's a senior, if I they had any friends who needed a date and she set me up with a really nice girl. Here's my problem: there's another girl, who I think I may like. We've never really been all that great of friends before last year, and now we're getting along really well. She's a sophomore too, so it's not like we could go to prom TOGETHER.

I'm gonna talk to my date about it and prom's still over 2 months away. I just don't want to seem incensitive.

I really really really like him, he was basically the perfect boyfriend and now he's moving to florida. Obviously I'm devastated but lots of my friends think that I shouldnt be acting so sad and I wanna try not to think about it so much so how am I supposed to get it out of my head?

Well this is the situation: I study at the university & I like a teacher, a lot of things had happened between 2 of us; & he has made some stranges things like spy on me from his office, take me pics, but i don't understand nothing.
At first we had a normal relation teacher-student then i try to get another things from him, he answered strange cuz he appeared be interested for moments and then nothing. one time we were working in a project & suddenly he said" teh things tahat we are doing are wrong" i think he was talking about the project but not.
recently y said to him that i like him then he get nervous & didn't want talk to me, when we talk about it he said " nothing happened, the things are normal" this is clear but i don't understand why he used to spy on me, talk about me with his friends, get angry when i talk to another boy or teacher, make hints about us & about his private life???? I like him too much so i want to know what do about it? talk with him or forgot him??

my fella works abroad. We have been married a looong time I am on the wrong side of forty .kids have left home and am rather large lady ,but sometimes of an evening i have strange desires, like getting in a cab going to the nearest club and picking up a stranger just for good old fashioned raunchy sex i wouldn't as my conscience would play hell but other than people I know possibly seeing me (i would practice safe sex) the temptation is very very strong am I a raving nutter?

I met this guy that i've been crushing on for weeks. but form what i've heard theres nothing a guy likes more than a good mystery. So when ever we talk I listen and we have great conversation. But if he's talking to some one else i pertend not to notice he's there and I dont wait for him after classes, and we dont talk after word unless he waits for me.
But now i'm cofused on if he likes me. I at first i thouht so but now he dosen't wait for me as much as he use to. Do I come off to as "I just want to be friends?"

Bunch of us (girls and guys) were at a community pool very late at night. We scaled an 8' tall fence to get in. We were having fun until we noticed a spotlight shining on us. Needless to say it must have been the funniest thing to see a bunch of naked people scrambling for their clothes and climbing the fence nude......I almost got my junk stuck at the top...LOL I never laughed so hard in my life. this guy has been my neighbor for over eight years. He knows me and trust him and its the same for me. We've never been more than friends buy he always had small crushes on me when we were in grade school. But, this year is different i see him differently. I like him and his spontaneous personality. I remeber i told him i liked him in grade school and he was shocked and started acting different towards me. He started flirting with me and sitting with me on the bus and trying to get close to me. But then he got a girlfrend. And he would talk about her in front of me trying to boast about it or something. Someone told me that his gf doesnt like him at all and he was just bragging. So i still talk to him and flirt with him and he does with me but a little less. He seems embarrassed at times and nervous. Does he like me? i dont know if i should wait for him to come ask me out.. cuz i am not the asking him type girl. is he worth the wait?

She has had one bad relationship after another. I want to take her out, someplace where she can meet people, and have fun and not be so obsessed with finding Mr. right. I was with my husband for 13 years and it all went a bit Pete Tong. We argued all the time, he didn't make the effort etc. I ended up leaving him for someone at work 2 1/2 years ago. I now live with this new guy. He has his own house - which i now own with him and his own business. I have an extremely well paid job so we both have things to offer each other - materially. However, i don't feel fulflled. We don't go out, we don't have lots of friends, we don't do anything much (like i used to do in my old life). We seem to irritate each other and our sex life has gone from 5 times a week to - if we're lucky - 5 times a month! We argue quite a lot and he says it's because i want things all the time. He speaks to me in not a nice way sometimes - the same way he speaks to everyone else around him - disrespectfully. What should i do?

They use to never do, all the way back to the times of school starting in the very late 1800's. I do not understand it. I am a geek that is suppose to attract other geeks of the opposite sex. I do not understand the change unless beauties have been secretly thinking about geeks and have decided to change. The geeks and even the nerds not to forget them have always been attacked and hated. I can see why some of them become hackers. I know its sad but I can understand their pain, even though I think they need to stop taking their painful out on others. It isnt helping and it is only hurting others and not themselves. I think that women who are beauties, meaning not geek or nerd oriented. I just do not understand. It is ruining alot of my fellow geeks and nerds way of believing that geeks and nerds are for geeks and nerds not beauties and beauties should be with other beauties of the opposite sex like jocks are models. famous with famous. Hollywood has the right idea. Famous with famous.

will it was just yesterday i was walking and there was this guy i like and he was walking with this girl i know and she asked him if he wanted to go out with her sister and i just walked off and i did even want to hear the rest of what he said i was mad i ran to the restroom in to the stall and no i didn't cry i was just thinking i should have asked him when i was sitting by him in math class iam so mad and sad at the same time but after i was just thinking what did he say to her???? and if he said no what do i do ask him or just leave it???? its been 1month and a half trying my best to ask him i know the frist guy it was easy and its been a long time to asking a guy out after a 2year relationship oh can you help me what should i do????? i really like this guy
