Singles & Dating - 2 March 2007

I have been hearing about something for Christian young people, called 'waiting not dating' but I don't really understand it. Something like, being just friends with everyone until you get married or something it's kind of confusing to me. I am almost 17, I am a Christian and I just began dating maybe 6 or 7 months ago, and I am very careful, in fact my dad doesn't even let me kiss until I am engaged....anyway I just want to do what is right in God's eyes. The waiting not dating thing sort of makes sense, and alot of times I feel like just being friends with everyone, but I don't really understand it...If any of you people out there have any more info you can give concerning this subject it would be greatly appreciated!!

I really have always hated fast food even before the diet was even vegetarian for a few years at one point this week all I want is fast food I had a damn big mac and a poutine yesterday in hopes that would stop the constent craving now I want fried chicken which Ive hated my entire life including as a kid and teen. Any idea whats up? The big mac although I usually wouldnt like it was satisfying but I camped out in the bathroom all night then again this morning? ANY THOUGHT< OPINIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED --- BTW IM not pregnant or something

i really like this guy in school and i don' t kno what to do. one of my best friends told him "one of my best friends liked u and she want to kno who u like.....so who is it?" and he said "kno body"
then she said "i would tell who but she swor me to screcay srry"

alrite...lets call these two guys pablo and daniel...ok well i like this one guy hes a yr younger than me and his name is daniel...and he has a best friend named pablo...well pablo like 3 weeks ago didnt no who i was ...around valentines day he didnt no who i was...and now like he keeps comming around and asking me random questions and once when i was in my calf at skool i was buying food and he started to ask me about how much things were and stuff...and then the other day he came randomly up to me and my friend while i was eating and he started asking me about the food i was eating..he seemed kinda like he couldnt think of anything to talk about ...and then he was like "so do you no daniel" and i was like yep...and he was like oh ok..and he took my friends food and walked away...oh and ive seen him like staring at me ..when im with my friends..or once when i was talking to my sister in the calf..its werid..is he just messing with my head or do you think he has feelings about me? help

hay ive just been dumped today after telling my bf that im pregnant with his baby! he accused me of sleeping arround @ 14 (cos thats how old i am) after he put pressure on me about havving sex with him(hes 19) ! i mean how selfish is that! and also i pland this according to him to try and trick him into givving me money for some reasion! and yes the babys his i mean like i said its his baby cos i was a virgin before i met him! so i really need help! what would you do in my situation! im so scard!!!!!!!! would you dump your gf over somthing like this?????? please help me!!!

this guy I have been MADLY in Love with for the past 2 or so years is going off to colige really soon.
He isn't in Love with me at this point in time but I know he did like me I think he still kinda does and he isn't sure about Loving anyone for a little wile. (i duno why)
He ISNT a bad guy he is different from most guys I know for a fact
I am just affraid to lose him to some ditzy girl he meets in colige, should i let go of him now and move on or should i stick through it and see if he does get a gf, cuz I kinda doubt he will ( most people think he is REALLY hard to get along with and most relationships has been in havent worked out for more than a month or two) he says I am the ONLY girl who has ever had feelings for him this long.
He says we don't click but that has its reasons and I think I can change that.

i have a b/f, and he really likes me, but if ne1 in my family found out we were together they would just die. they say i can do better. we wanna spend time alone, but i dont kno how, where, or when. we talk on the phone occasionally but i call him jack when i do. i told my mom my b/fs name was jack so he goes along with it.we pass note during class, and talk during class, but after class this other guy that really likes me waits for me at the door and he kinda takes over. so my b/f and i never get alone time. my mom doesnt trust me 1.) she starting to think i dont actually have a b/f and 2.) she wont let me go anywhere with my friends by my self. shes always there with, i went to a party the other day at the ice rink, that was the first time i went somewhere where my parents werent thee along with. did i mention that im 13 and never been newhere with my b/f with a group or by our selves, its pathetic! he tells me he truelly absolutly loves me cuz im everything hes not, think its true?

we have been together for THREE years. He is 23 i am 18. When we first got together it was mostly physical. He cheated on me a year and half into our relationship. He not only slept with her but he was forming a relationship with her. I forgave him but did not forget it. NOw a year and a half later i am doubting our future.

Heres the good about him-Love to be around me-hates being without me-tells me how much he loves me like every 20 minutes-tells me how beautiful i am-thanks me for helpin with his bills-will take a bullet for me-cooks for me-cleans for me-loves to hold me-pleases me-doesnt talk about me with his buddies or brothers-sticks up for me-very protective over me

I have been going otu with my boyfriend for over a year butant me to meet his friends... when ever they are goign to go over to his house he takes me home before they get there.. or if he goes otu with them he tells me about it but neevr invites me to go with him... i invite him to hang otu wtih me all teh time but he never wants to...is he ashamed of me???? ive met only 3 of his friends and only because i was at his house when the yshowed up....i love him and he says he loves me to. ive tried talkign to him about it but all he says is that he goes out wih just the guys, and that it would eb weird for me... then later he tells me stories of hwat happened and there always seems to be girls tehre 2... am i just over reacting or should i be upset?

In all my dating relationships, I always feel and act as if I love the other person more than they love me. In my current relationship, I realize that I am giving off this same impression, but I know that I'm not in love with my partner. We've been dating for 1 year and I really like him...plus I enjoy his company very much. But although we've exchanged "I love you's" and I act as if I'd die without him, I know within my heart that I'm just doing it to make him think I'm deep in love (yes, I know that it's wrong...that's why I'm asking your advice). Truth is, if we break up I'd miss him, but not as much as I make him think. How do I stop wearing my heart on my sleeve so much and is it too late for me to take a step back from being so "loving"?

I was just partners in a project at school with this girl that I really have a crush on. I'm really smart...so she thanked me for letting her be my partner, instead of my usual pick. Me and my girlfriend have been through ALOT. We've been together a year. We took a break 4 months ago and she was drunk and made out with another guy. She came back to me and told me she was srry and that she loved me and cried and so on. I took her back. Ever since then i have not been happy with our relationship. I know its because when she did that i lost that feeling you're suppose to have, when you know the other person cares about you.
