I usually get a rock-hard erection. That's always a good indication that you're into someone.

Maybe you need a longer break away from him to see if you miss him. Usually a friend won't be missed in the same way as a person you really care for. Sometimes feelings can develop for somebody over time, there's no formula for it, it either happens or it doesn't. If it doesn't seem right to you, then you obviously have doubts about your feelings for him.
Ask yourself though, are you perhaps scared of taking the risk of starting something with him that could ruin the friendship you already have together? Lots of people get nervous when they become attracted to somebody they previously thought of as a good friend, because they fear losing that person as a friend if the relationship ends. Unfortunately that's something that can and does happen to a lot of people.

You should be thinking about him all the time, dreaming about him seducing you, the whole Mills and Boon scenario. If you fancied him you would not have to ask. Having said all that. there is more to a relationship than romance, if you don't think it is stringing him along, go with it for a while, if it comes to kissing etc and you just can't go there, then it's not right. If it does feel right, great, but if not, at least you have a friend.

Why not ask him out on a date?... Are you scared that this will never work between you two or are you more unsure? Maybe when you guys will go out on a real date things will get somehow a bit clearer. Take some risks! Gd luck

Sometimes it takes getting to know someone better before those feelings develop, so don't discount this guy just yet. Spend some time with him, let his personality be discovered over time and perhaps you'll find there is something there.

I'm in the exact same boat right now. I like this guy, but the idea of sleeping with him??? :-(
So, I gotta be straight with him. I like you as a friend, but the chemistry (or what ever is supposed to be there) just isn't there. "I don't have romantic feelings for you."

it seems like you like him. maybe you dont think its right when you think about what other people will say.... but only you can know that. from what you've said you probably are attracted to him, but wait a little longer and see whether you miss him when hes not there. what ever you do, if you find out you do like him, dont lose that opportunity. good luckxx
