I really really really like him, he was basically the perfect boyfriend and now he's moving to florida. Obviously I'm devastated but lots of my friends think that I shouldnt be acting so sad and I wanna try not to think about it so much so how am I supposed to get it out of my head?

you should not be sad. you have the best thing any woman can have when she cant see her bf everyday......thoughts......of the good times you have had together.....plus you can always call him and you can talk to eachother on the computer with a web cam......if you dont have one by now you probably will get one for one reason........him........now stop trippin on what your peeps aka friends say about how YOU should feel about your boyfriend leaving because ONLY YOU are in control of your feelings and what makes you feel sad. im out girl dont trip

the best way to react to this...Cry your eyes out. Spend as much time with him..and don't listen to your friends..9 months is a long time. You should talk to him about it. Not your friends. He probably has the same emotions as you do, you should support each other, and decide where your relationship can go after the move. Should you just be friends, and talk online and send letters, try a long distance relationship, or just break it off completely. Whatever you do is going to be devastating to you, but the more you talk about it out in the open the better it will be. There is no way to get it out of your head, unless you talk about it.

in my opinion, i could in no way flow to a diverse state with a guy i did not love. you're literally not in genuine love if you're dishonest on your boyfriend. i wager i could in no way cheat on a boyfriend of two years both inspite of the truth that. %. a guy! or you'd be the only ending up unhappy and on my own. in case you even cared a touch about both guy, you are able to tell them the reality, or a minimum of %. one. Karma could properly be a nasty issue, so i could be careful of who and what you do.

Nine months is nothing to fret over. Some things happen for reasons we can't understand.

Get his #, his adress, everything. If you can talk to him a lot while he's gone you won't be so sad.

You react the way you react...everyone deals with issues differently so cope with it, the way you know how.
