i like a guy but we know eachother too well and for too long. His parents know my parents and if we got together everyone in school and my friends and family would be surprised. THey never saw it comming. But i like him too much to give it up! what do i do? does the public matter?

If you like him, then go with your feelings, because you may never get another chance! And what you feel is just what I said, what YOU feel, not everyone else. So, ignore them, and go for it! If it makes you happy, then it should make everyone else happy too!
