I'm a 25 year-old introverted female who works in a different town every week. I joined an online dating service with "profile-matching" to ensure compatibility with someone. Lo and behold, they came through---he is amazing. I flew to see him, things went great, he told me he had a great time, too. However, he didn't call me until 4 days after I'd gotten home from visiting him (after he'd told me to call and tell him if I'd "gotten in safely" and then didn't answer) And that will have been a week ago tomorrow. What gives? A little background info that keeps me hoping: (1) he is a doctor in residency working crazy thirty-something hour shifts every other day (2) he just found out (since we've met) that his mom has a tumor (his dad is dead) and he may be worried about her and (3) he's training to be a psychiatrist and seems wary about my commitment/responsibility issues. But he was SO communicative before and now he hasn't even responded to an e-mail I sent a week ago about his mom

Ok, I have a 3 month old and I live with my ex for the sake of the baby. I met someone in Mid Jan and everything has been GREAT. He is everything I have even wanted in a guy and he says I really make him happy. We went out to the bars a couple Sats ago and on the drive home a song came on the radio and he had me change it because he would get depressed. I told him if he was thinking of someone else maybe he shouldn't be with me. Then we talked about it a few days later and he said he was completely over her and that even if she would come back he would tell her no cause he was happy with me. Then the next Sat we went out for his birthday. He got pretty drunk and called me her name when we were getting out of the car. I kinda yelled at him and next thing I knew I heard he took off walking home. I went to go find him and eventually heard from a friend of his that he was at another bar down the street. We went and got him took him to his place and his friend suggested I stay.

It sucks. my question isnt how to solve this problem, my question is...how are your social skills when it comes to picking up attractive members of the opposite sex?

Me and my ex boyfriend were together for four and a half years. We've had or ups dan downs like everyother relationship, but it was good. We recently broke up. ( like a month and a half ago). First we decided to take a break meaning we would get back together once we clear our heads. Then a week later he tells me that he is talking to another woman. Then few days after that he tells me we should break up! meaning not getting back together. He claims that I wasn't treating him the way he wanted me to. I have to admit I've been busy dealing with school, and work, so I was kind of neglecting him. But this hasn't been going on for a long time. To cut it short, I really love him with everything I got, but he says his heart isn't in it anymore. I don't understand how that could happen. I am so confused and don't know what to do. It is tearing me apart.

when a guy that used to like you (but denies having feelings for you now) tells you that your ex is a jerk and that you shouldnt bother talking with him, does that mean he likes you still?

If a woman wants a handsome prince, she's gotta kiss a lot of frogs.
If a guy is really younger than the woman, he's her TADPOLE.

I'm 42 and trying to get my 21 y.o. friend out of the pond and into my bed...
Is this going on a lot? Do young guys "dig" older women? What can you tell me about this TADPOLING?

I have a classmate, previously, we only a friend, he often borrow my book, never contact me. But now, we exchange things and borrow things each other. He sometimes call me. Invite me to come to his church, house, meet his parents. More open than formerly. But I can't guess, why if I contact him (send short message/text message to his mobile phone), why he very seldom to reply it, even ever not reply. or just the next day he would reply my message. Sometimes, he is so sweet to me, give care, make a jokes, but sometimes I feel that he don't care about me. I know we only a friend, but I can't accept why he is not reply my text message.

What the logic reason , why he not answer my text message? If I'm wrong to contact him via text message? whether he don't like me? whether he want run and escape from me? hate me? busy? had other girl friend? Whether I must still contact him? what should I do ? (I think I love him, care about him).

thinking sometimes hurts me/more stupid than I can see/Why dont I leave/Why do I stay/They will be a day/Where I just wont wake/
Yes oh yes that is written in stone
Why or why wont you leave it alone?
Born to hate and hates to lose
I could leave if I choose

I met this girl freshman year in high school. We over the whole high school era, we became really good friends. Also, over those years... I came to love her, and everything about her. Of course, she only sees me as a friend. I've had this secret love for years now... we are both freshman in college.

The thing is, I'm pretty sure she knows I love her. She's way to afraid to love me back, and maybe ruin the friendship we have.

She just recently got her very first "boyfriend," and I freaked out. I got mad at her and messed our friendship up for a while. But everything is better now... well at least she thinks that.

I have always been there for this girl. She has had some family problems and life problems in general. Later, her grandma (her grandparents raised her... long story) took me aside after graduation and told me stuff like, thanks for looking out for her, thanks for being there and taking care of her, and thanks for teaching her so much about the world.

Guys,I need more feed back & your honest opinion on this.please read below -it's about my friend who is like a sis to me. Emotionally she is not doing well because of this realtionship issue & sadly she has this tendency of taking everyone's blame even when it's not her fault & beating herself up emotionally.I think she might've some real confidence issues here which she herself not aware of & I think she needs help.

My friend is a very kind, intelligent & very caring woman. She has been in love with this man for 2 years &He says he loves her too.she has always been there for him as a friend & lover showring him with constant love & care unconditionally. But it seems this man has some serious problems - practically he has never been there for her even as a FRIEND from DAY ONE when she needed him & has ZERO contribution to this relationship. All he had ever done has only to say he loves her very much. He would ask her to email him, to show her care for him & she does care for him a lot..

We get all types of aches, pains and conditions that men do not get. A lot of times we hear that it is in our heads. What condition would you love for them to experience just one time?

We're both off on Tuesdays. He said "I owe you a Tuesday!" I had asked him earlier today "When ya gonna wax my truck?" So when he said he owed me a whole day, I asked him what he wanted to do. He acted like he just wanted to hang out with me all day. I thought he had been flirting with me. Do you think he suggested spend the whole day together as an excuse to get closer...like it's a date...without facing rejection? I really like him and think he's been hinting to start something.

I have a long distance relationship with my gf. In dec I was at her place in boston when I found an email from her to another guy saying "we're not doing too good at this" and "got your vm, but my bf was here..you could have gotten me killed" and "still feeling guilty, more that I hit on this off the market guy on a daily basis" and "call me tonight...I will be alone". Anyway...I called her out on this and she said it was a flirty friendship, he lives in another state and he has a gf. she says nothing ever happened, just phone calls. I asked her to call him to prove it, she said no. I asked her to send him an email to cut it off..she lied and sent it to a fake address. She even told me he was black to throw me off (I know she only likes white guys), turns out he is white. Anyway. I know in my heart she is lying, but NEED proof. How can I get the proof? She deny's everything now. I just need to know if they slept together or hooked up. She likely already told him not to say anything

There is this girl in school that I like. We are the same age and I’ve known her for a couple of years now (but we are not close friends).
I like her a lot and I try to flirt with her but she doesn’t seem to respond well to that. And I don’t think that she would go anywhere with me. (I kinda suspect that maybe one of her friends likes me)
My question is what should I do?
I know everybody asks the same question but I’m really confused and I’m not that good at this (as you probably guessed by now).
I really don’t know what to do. The only thing I can think of is during classes to take her hand and take her somewhere more private in the building and tell her everything
(that I like her, that I like being with her, that I’m doing this in school since I don’t see her outside of it, and ask her whether I have any chance of being more then friends with her) I really really need your opinion (no matter how brutal it is). Is that ok, what should I change or maybe you have another idea

P.S. I don’t mean to like kidnap her or force her to listen or something violent like that I mean to take her hand and ask her come with some place more private in the school

My husband and I are a spinal cord injury couple. We love each other so much and have problems like most but the biggest prob.is in our sex life, which is the most imporatant area that I need filled the most.. I have been very patient with him, and his excuses are being to tired or skin problems, but I am not getting any younger, after being married for 12 years now. I am really missing out on the true love making and excitment that I have never really had a chance to experience all the wonderful joys of love making with him the one you love cause he's not interested.. I know he is atracted to me, thinks I am beautiful and desires me, but to him cuddeling with me is all that interests him.. It is really hard to take that when men show interest in me, flirts with me and exchange numbers with me. My question is,Should I Go find outside the marriage how to pleasure myself and surprise him with better experience to show him that I can pleasure him so he will then want to be with me?
