I am almost 22. I dont have much in common w/ most guys my age. I am not interested in getting drunk every weekend and/or sleeping around. I live in a college town and thats the norm so its been very hard for me to find someone I have anything in common with.

I am constantly descirbed as an "old soul" or as "very mature." I am no prude, and I am not boring, just to make that clear.

I am starting to think that maybe I should try to date men that are a little older than me. I just wonder if they will have a problem w/ me being a virgin. Its been a problem w/ guys my age so..Im wondering. I dont want to date an older man that will see my as "childish" which is one of my concerns b/c I dont date alot either.

Maybe I should just more mature/neater? Although I think I already do.

Is that weird? How can I help her break out of her shell? I mean she's really pretty now. , but in junior high, she wasn't. She didn't get pretty until high school, and in junior high, she was talked about a lot and boys pretended to like her just to be mean. But I think that's made her really shy. But she doesn't really know how to talk to guys and make eye contact and smile and all that stuff. I try and tell her how, but it's the actual doing part that's hard for her. And yesterday, she was crying saying how she was all lonely and all that stuff and I didn't know what to say. How can I help her meet a man, and help her to break out of her shell. Was anybody else that way?

i know she likes me but she sometimes acts like she hardly knows me. when ever i am with her we have such a great time together and i know she has a good time too. I dont know why i keep gettin this feelin like she really doesnt like me like she say she does. What does this mean? And What should i do?

i live in nashville, i met her in puerto rico while i was playing basketball 1 year ago, and she left her job and moved back to tennessee for me while i was at work she found a txt message to another girl that said "i miss u" and another that said "why wont u kiss me" but it was just a joke to the girl and i wasnt serious and she didnt believe me, and thought i was cheating and bought a ticket and went to her sisters house in Orlando. We have been together for a year, this is the FIRST fight we have ever had..She said she was never coming back and could never trust me again. She left some things in my house, but said that she wanted me to "mail" them to her. this is the second time she found a message like this, I have never cheated on her...im am just a flirt. I am lost without her, how do i get her back? I now know i was wrong and am finished with flirting. I am thinking about giving her about 10 days and driving there and saying im sorry. Is that a good idea? what should i do?

I've a friend-she very kind,intelligent & a very caring woman.She is vin love with this man for 2 years &He says he loves her too.she has always been there for him as a friend & lover showring him with constant love & care unconditionally.But it seems this man has some serious problems - practically he has never been there for her even as a FRIEND from DAY ONE when she needed him & has ZERO contribution to this relationship.All he had ever done has only to say he loves her very much. He would ask her to email him, show her care for him and she does care for him a lot but she still gets blamed & worse yet he never does the same for her not even when she was terribly ill not even dropping a few lines for mere courtesy. This man is EXTREMELY Arrogant and has an INCURABLE and IRRATIONAL Stubbornness.needless to say he is a control freak too.But he never admits or recognizes his own problems but blames my friend for everything.And it hurts.To make it even worst my friend found Him .....

Hmmm...I mean could you please translate the girl's thoughts :))
If a guy says to a girl that she is: "very cute" - this I think means he likes her really much and even is in love with her, since it is unusual for men to use the word "cute" or "sweet", guys will use words like "hot"..."awsome"...

If a guy says to a girl that she is: "sexy"..well I dont know because I dont use that word too much :)

And when he says she is: "hot", it means that she is very attractive and probably he wants more (honestly to men that "more" means "sex"...to 80% of the males :).

So, please translate this words when spoken from a girl to guy :))

I'm in my 30s. On friday night, I'm going to a singles dance. In an odd sort of way, its like a grade school dance - lots of people sitting on the sidelines. I am a freshman at TCU and i was in a class with a girl that i like showing her a picture on my phone, she grabbed my phone and looked at it for awhile and said she was going to put her number in my phone. my cousin dated a guy (victor)for 2 yrs. we all go 2 the same club, n about 2 weeks after their brake up he asked me 2 dance w/ him. she saw me with him n didnt say anything...a week after that she got another bf...who she married in 2 months. since then victor n i have been seen each other very often. he comes 2 my house, n we just love being around each other. the only thing that gets on our way is the fact that he dated my cousin that is my neighbor (i come from a really close family n r each others neighbors) since then my aunts,uncles, n the rest of the family look @ me weird n act so distant (not that they liked me much b 4 anyway) he tells me he wished he had never dated her, but if it weren't 4 her we wouldn't of ever met. recently he comes 2 my house drunk telling me that we shouldnt see each other b cuz between us there could never be anythin b cuz' of my family so its better 2 let go now b4 he falls more in love, when he isnt drunk he says we shouldnt care. what do i do?

this girl, umm, lets call her ashley, Chris(me) asked her out during winter break, she rejected because she liked this other guy, bob, more. they started going out after winter break. so life goes on. but about last week, they broke up because of a rumor, during this time ashley IMed chris said shes single again, so i started talking to her more again. then they somehow got over the rumor and bob and ashley went back out again... but, ashley didnt stop talking to me, she talks to me more than she ever usually does. she would turn around in class and stare at me. she would wait for me in the hall to go to the next class. shes been really nice to me lately. What does this mean though, she is going out with bob, but she definitly shows interest in me.. why? am i wrong? tell me what you think. thanks for reading and answering i kno this is long and confusing.

ok there is this boy that i think is really cute so two days ago my friend introduced us. Bascially I came to him. Is that a problem? Dont boys approach girls? so today i saw him at his locker.(our lockers are near each other) There was a problem: i was the first one to speak not him. I said hi how are you doing? he spoke so i asked if he wanted my phone number. I didn't want to ask for his because i thought that giving him mine would be a way to see if he was really interested. he took it and left. what im thinking is that he is not interested. He didn't speak until i spoke. and he didn't ask for my number. Was it too soon for me to give him my number? i did so because i wanted to get a little ground. Am i right for not expecting him to call on the first night? Im ready to give up because i think that i tried too hard and turned him off. now im panicing thinking that he isnt interested.
