i live in nashville, i met her in puerto rico while i was playing basketball 1 year ago, and she left her job and moved back to tennessee for me while i was at work she found a txt message to another girl that said "i miss u" and another that said "why wont u kiss me" but it was just a joke to the girl and i wasnt serious and she didnt believe me, and thought i was cheating and bought a ticket and went to her sisters house in Orlando. We have been together for a year, this is the FIRST fight we have ever had..She said she was never coming back and could never trust me again. She left some things in my house, but said that she wanted me to "mail" them to her. this is the second time she found a message like this, I have never cheated on her...im am just a flirt. I am lost without her, how do i get her back? I now know i was wrong and am finished with flirting. I am thinking about giving her about 10 days and driving there and saying im sorry. Is that a good idea? what should i do?

The second time she found a message like that? You didnt learn the first time?
If you sincerely want her back and plan to change your flirty ways, give her some time, and call her or go see her.

Even if that was a joke, flirting around while you have a girlfriend is a serious offense to her. If you apologize, it might make things worse. Giving her time is understandable but in the middle of those ten days, call her. During those ten days a lot can happen. If you give her exactly ten days and don't try to contact her, she's going to think you abandoned her for that other woman (especially since she isn't with you). Reassure her that you love her and only her.
Oh, and if you want to keep her: STOP FLIRTING!
Things you have to reassure her about: that you will remain faithful, that she will be the only one for you, you will love her with all your strength, etc...
See a pattern?

first, you had a gf. second she found a text that was flirty. third she left you. need i say more? when a person has a gf or bf, that person shouldn't be flirting. HINT HINT! that's why your gf left! this is the 2nd time that it had happened. thats a hint that you should've stopped flirting in the first place! at this point she doesn't think you're worth it.....i wouldn't date a guy who makes it a habbit to flirt with other girls while dating me.....its not cool!

If she has such little trust after a year that she's willing to give you up over a piddling thing like this, then you're probably best leaving her alone. She clearly has some serious issues with insecurity.
