Not trying to sound conceited or anything, but im really confident and pretty. Are men intimidated by an intelligent attractive woman? It seems like i get hit on more by bisexual women than men.

there is this guy that i've known for 3 years and i like him and i think he likes me back, but anyway, the question is should i go out with him cause i dont really want to ruin a good friendship, cause if we do break-up, then things would get really weird between up and i dont really want to take that chance. but shoudl i go out with him?

I have two friends that are always trying to help me get a girlfriend. The problem I have with this is my friends are social morons. But they do not seem to relize it. Whenever I go out somewhere and I start talking to someone they come over and jump right in the conversation and basically start doing all of the talking for me like its their buisness and totally blow the whole thing. I have told them a thousand times that I do not like it when they get involved. But they reply they are just trying to help me out. I'd get new friends but I've been friends with them since high school and I don't have the heart to ditch them. I just want them to understand they should just leave me alone when it comes to dating. Anyone have any helpful solutions?

I took part in cheating, i was single at the time. I told my girlfriend this because i felt i could trust her. Now that girl that cheated on her boyfriend is single. Her and i have been hanging out a lot lately and she has made it apparent that i and her could have something. I am going to break up with my girlfriend, not because of this, but because i do not feel the same way about her anymore. Will she tell my secret and possible make my life miserable? or will she know that it is not to be told and will keep her mouth shut?

I've never had a one-night stand, but have been close many times. I usually back out, though, because that's not me, but I have begun to more seriously consider it.

How many of you on here have had them, how was the following morning and was there any remorse afterwards, or was it just chalked up to something fun and in the moment?

I know it is petty, and it has been almost 2 years since I broke up with this guy. But we went out for almost 4 years, and I loved him dearly, and he broke up with me. Since then, I've dated here and there but havent ever really found someone like him. Compounded by this is the fact that my 2 best friends in the world are HIS best friends, which does not bode well for the fact that I can't just "forget" about him. So I come to find out through Myspace that he has been dating a girl who is quite pretty. Rather than be happy for him and just forget about it, it consumes me. I'd like to think I have a good grip on reality, but it is so weird. I unequivocally cannot help but be bothered by it. I hate it, and I want to not care. I am happy for him, to an extent, but I am bothered by the fact that she may be prettier/better looking than me. Who cares if I am successful and have a great life. I mean, I know it sounds ridiculous, but I can't stop comparing. Tell me I'm a fool...

im catholic and im totally set on waiting for marriage before i loose my virginity. my boyfriend says hes cool with that but i think hes just saying that. he keeps hinting that he wants it, the other night he said... what happens when i get really attracted to you and you wont spend the night with me. and i just said well i know what i want and im going to wait.

but i know he just isnt dating me for my body i know he really likes me. he just wants something im not willing to give yet. so what can i do or say to help him deal with waiting?

Im not going to lie or worry about spelling or anything, but the male is me which im an b-c student, 6ft 6in, 200lbs, and the female i cant say who, is like 5ft 1in and 120lbs, she knows its wrong i do too but, she acts 16 and i act 21 both physically and mentally and vice versa....so try and give me the best answers, i dont want a long answer, i will not choose a long answer as the best answer, im asking for you to just tell me a few words.....thanks!

for almost 3 years and rlsph ended in 2002 even though we still cared for each other. he started dating some lady right after we broke up and as he was about to break up with her (3months into the rlshp) so we could try again, she trapped him by getting pregnant. he felt the right thing to do was to marry her. i thought this was a bad idea but he did what he felt he had to. it was a nightmare for him. he was married to her for about a year and within that time he had another child with her. he is divorced now with two kids with his exwife. we have remained close friends all thru this time, with much love for one another. and i recently told him how i felt and that i wanted us back together. just to find out again now that the girl friend is pregnant. how messed up is that? another woman has trapped him again. i am angry with him, i feel like he is so gullible and didnt learn the first time around. i am so sad cuz i believe that we are soulmates but i cant be with him. thoughts?

I've been with someone for about five months, and though I care about her deeply, don't necessarily see us together forever.

At this juncture in my life (24), I'm past the point of playing games and am getting, kind of, sort of closer to wanting to settle down.

But....I always have a difficult time breaking up with someone - in fact, I think that it's harder for me to break up than to be broken up with.

Why is breaking up so hard to do, and what are the suggestions on how to do it? Long and drawn out, or quick and painful?

There is this boy that I met at a church retreat ,and we became really close during the week. After the camp we would occasionally email eachother. Then, when the follow up weekend of the camp happened a little while ago he would only talk to me when I would go and talk to him. Yet when I went and talked with him he flirted with me and basically just talked to me and not his friends. I don't get it. Does he like me? Or is he just a flirt?

I finally asked him (through a text) if he has a chick because I thought it was weird how he never calls and only texts me. He said that no he doesn't have a girl but that's just how he talks to his friends simply because he feels he can talk better that way. Every month he uses about 9000 texts(isn't that ridiculous?) He also said he gets nervous on the phone like he has with me on the few times we have spoken on the phone. I mean we have hung out a few times and it's never awkward we get along super awesome and on the phone too we just talk and talk, but i do notice that on the phone and in person he does seem jittery at first, but once he gets comfortable around me he is fine. He's the one who wanted to know me (he did it through his friend at that, and even she told me he was shy). I don't get how a dude can be so shy to only text me every night, hardly ever asks me to hang out, and never calls. What's up with him if he doesn't have a girlfriend, can he really be that shy?
