Singles & Dating - 13 February 2007

I am a 20 yr old black woman...and the majority of the guys that I have been attracted to, since I was old enough to have crushes, have been white....if not all of them. I can´t help who I am attracted to, physically. I have found black men attractive....but it was due to their personalities and nothing else. I haven´t started dating just yet. When and if I do, I will be open to all races but I can´t help but wonder if I will always lean towards dating white men only.

No one knows this about me, only because I have not made it as obvious as some people I know. I know that I am not alone in this type of situation because I have friends that will only date outside of their race. I can´t help but feel like i´m wrong for feeling this way. Anyway, should i continue to hide my feelings or shamelessly bring it out into the open.

I have seen how friends have benefited by sharing this with people....but I have aslo seen them ridiculed for it. Just looking for some decent advice

I have been dating this guy I met online for a month. We are both casually seeing other people but are going out for Valentine's Day. I brought up being exclusive and he said that at least for a little while longer he wants to go to dinner, etc. with other girls b/c he got out of a relationship not to long ago. Is there hope for this relationship? What do I do to win him over?

been in so many relationships.. loved many and been loved by many..
but never in my life i felt what ppl call "jealousy" !! and i seriously won't be upset if my boyfriend is having sex right now with someone else!
my ex told me that this is something that pissed him off and for him it was serious.. and he wished i'd atleast fake it!!!


i also (as a kid) never gotten jealous from my younger siblings.. and (as a teenager) in school, i never felt jealous from anyone!

can someone be unable to feel jealousy?? and is it pathological??

when we meat he sayed that he just brekup with his girlfriend so i went out with him and we are to gather now but we live really far from echothr and i dond see him often casue he's teling me that he work's alot and he is busy with work also he leaves the town often for work . and most of th time is on weekend i really dont know what to do .i love him but i think that there is somthing goning on .

u think a guy is attrractive.So you want to get to know him better, you both talk on myspace, go to the same schools,he smiles at you everyday and finds cute ways to talk to you,but the sad thing is that he has a g/f of (wow)....2 months...but he says he still wants to hang this weekend and he calls you a cutie,and tells you that u are a sweetheart......wtf???????? ~confused~ sooooooo i was thinking i would write him a small note telling him that i think he is attractive and giving it to him at school.....should I ??? plus...what would i write on the note without it seeming weird???

I don't know what is wrong with me. Everytime I find a guy that sweeps me off my feet I think I scare them away. There is this guy that I met last semester in college and he acted like he was interested and we were going to movies together and hanging out and he would call me. He was in the navy and last semester he had to do drills. He called me every night he was away for the first time he went. He only had to go once a month. Then the texts went away and the phone calls went away. Now it seems like he is avoiding me. I love this boy to death and would do anything for him. If he wants me to leave him alone he should tell me instead of pushing me away and making me upset all the time. I text him and I keep trying to get him to tell me what he wants but he just doesn't seem to want to talk about it. Please someone, why must I be done like this???

My boyfriend and i use to have sex in the morning as well as the night time. Since i put on 20 pounds in the last year and a half, i don't care to have him look at me and my folds so we no longer have sex in the morning. It has to be at night and the lights have to be off. I know this bothers him to the point where he is really annoyed at me. So three months ago i lost 20 pounds and now we are back to having sex day and night . i have this friend i met her on ,myspace. well she and i started hanging out and she told me she was a swinger. i told her i am not like that. anyways, she told me she was a accountant and then i found out she wasnt and she lied. i keep catching her in lies all the time. she lies to me and i dont know why. then i found out she really is a teller then i found out she is an auditor. she also sleeps with different men all the time she isnt married. i took her out for her bday and paid for her dinner. i gave her a present too. after dinner she took me home and didnt even give me a hug or say thank you i told her a thank you would be nice. she said thank you after i asked her. then i went to give her a hug and she was distant and weird. then she said she is competitive and i told her i am not then said sorry for saying that.
