I am a 20 yr old black woman...and the majority of the guys that I have been attracted to, since I was old enough to have crushes, have been white....if not all of them. I can´t help who I am attracted to, physically. I have found black men attractive....but it was due to their personalities and nothing else. I haven´t started dating just yet. When and if I do, I will be open to all races but I can´t help but wonder if I will always lean towards dating white men only.
No one knows this about me, only because I have not made it as obvious as some people I know. I know that I am not alone in this type of situation because I have friends that will only date outside of their race. I can´t help but feel like i´m wrong for feeling this way. Anyway, should i continue to hide my feelings or shamelessly bring it out into the open.
I have seen how friends have benefited by sharing this with people....but I have aslo seen them ridiculed for it. Just looking for some decent advice

As a white chic - I think you would totally be respected. Just today me and my brother went to lunch and this guy behind me was totally hot & he was Chinese. I am normally not attracted to Chinese men, but this guy good dayyyyyy.
I think when you stand your ground and open your mind, other people will see how stupid they are.
Thats what you are attracted too. Like some me like heavier girls and yes unfortunately majority likes skinny girls.
We are all not the same thank god.
If you find a man you love lets hope you love more than his skin.

What is there to be ashamed of nothing that i can see, Im open to dating women of all races, its all good, alough ive never dated a black woman,More power to you you should be able to date who ever you want, without worrying abut it all the time, Good luck in your search.

Don't hide your feelings, or risk being unhappy. Dare anyone to challenge the way you feel because there is nothing wrong. If you have a bad experience, then chalk it down to experience and pick yourself up again. Always stay true to yourself.
