come Valentines Day, he'll make it up to me, and boy was I dreaming when i thought this..... I reminded him a couple of weeks ago to book the table early so we could get the later sitting as 7 would way to early so he tells me yesterday i could only get a 7 o clock, so I drove down to the restaurant last night and asked nicely could i get a later table and there was no problem. Then this morning i got half dead roses a card bought from a newsagents with no envelope, teddy and obviously the last box of chocs in the shop, the card was scribbled this morning. It was all totally last minute, no thought what so ever, no effort. Im so annoyed and pretty upset, like for god sake is it that hard for someone to get it right on just one day a year.
Does any1 agree with me, that this is just not good enough? ? im not being selfish, its is a special day in the year well it is to me and i just feel so let down.

I'm a 23 yr old, uni grad in a great job, my own car and flat. I have good friends & family who tell me how pretty and smart I am. So why do all the men I've dated (all black men), or tried a relationship with, end up cheating on me or treating me like dirt? Although these men heavily pursue/woo me - they end up lying to and hurting me everytime.

For instance, my ex boyfriend decided to dump me for another girl who he claimed was his girlfriend all along! Apparently, they'd been together for 3 years until she'd gone abroad for a year, they fell out of touch and now she's back they've decided to pick up where they left off - despite the fact we'd already been together 6 months and it took him 3 months beforehand to convince me to a date.

Another ex decided he wasn't ready for a relationship after 9 months. Another ex got me pregnant and then left me when I decided not to keep it. I've been lied to, let down, cheated on. I don't know why black men treat women this way.

Moved into this bldg 8 months ago. I used to bump into this guy in the lift. I was single and heartbroken and he just seemed so charming, and intelligent. Once he offered to drop me to work and asked for my number. (he seemed really interested). I waited for two days but he never called. So I text him and he calls me vening...promises to call again...doesnt for a week..i text again....he calls late in the evening....once he comes back from a party late in the night and offers to come up to my place...i dont invite him and so he takes me for a short drive....
and then later he invites me to his place. In a couple of meetings, i realised i was just his booty call, so i told him i was looking for a relationship and he hadnt even asked me on a date after a month of knowing each other...now, we've drifted apart without any closure, Should i have just continued to give him what he wanted? should i have not got intimate soon? how do i behave when i bump into him in the lift?

have a coworker that said she didn't want to party with a guy because he grabbed her butt and she said she was grossed out because he is about 15 years older than her, but she said that I can touch her butt. well for valentine's day, this buddy of mine told me that he's gonna get me a rose.i guess it took him quite a bit of courage to tell me that cos previously,he kept saying that he'll only get me a rose provided if i paid for it myself.and he asked me twice if i've got a date or not.he's really weird.he acts as if he's got a crush on me,my friends feel the same way too but then again,he tells me about the girl he has a crush on and etc and then he told me that a girl just confessed to him and asked me what he should do!then after telling me all these,he said he'll get me a rose for v-day.today's vday and he didn't get me anything!it's just like as though he forget everything he said yesterday!isn't it weird?he sounded like he's definitely getting me the rose!is he too shy or is he just trying to test if i'll be sad when i don't get anything from him?something along that line?
